  • Ref MOTM this game already.

Got to keep the Premier League season exciting I suppose.
  • Silly challenge, clear pen in my view.
  • I have seen some truly great players over the years but I have to say K d B is something else.
That third goal was sheer poetry, the ball kept at the same height and power the moment he connected with it until it ‘smashed’ into the back of the net.
How sad that he won’t be seen in Paris on a stage that befits his genius.
Wolves fans will obviously be pissed off to lose but on the other hand they had the privilege of seeing one of the greatest players ever to have graced the game at the height of his powers.
  • Come on Spurs.

Prefer them to Arsenal anyway, but it also just makes it more interesting if it goes to the last couple of games for top 4 rather than being settled tonight.

Just seen Spurs' next game......Saturday at 12 noon. Now I'm not one to usually complain about Sky moving fixtures to suit but come on......a days rest ?? They're not even kicking off at 5pm or 7.45pm on Sat,  but the early early kick off time of 12 noon !

    Edit.

Sorry, just checked again & seen its Sunday at midday. My bad.

But still. Last of this round of fixtures to finish & the very first of the next set.

    Poor.
  • Holding wins this weeks “total head loss award”
he’s been gunning for Son right from the off
  • Well ref made sure to give Tottenham their cup final win.

Still sits them in 5th place.
  • Not surprised by the sending off, Holding has looked in trouble from the word go. Going to be very tough for Arsenal now.
  • Arsenal:
away to Newcastle then home to Everton

win both and they get 4th

Hojberg steps on Saka's ankle, foul to Tottenham of course.

And they score from the corner from the free-kick, laugable.

  • Arsenal will do well to win at Newcastle. I think Spurs are favourites to finish 4th if they win this.

Premier League want Conte to stay in the league so of course this will happen.
  • I was going to say that Arsenal will still get 4th looking at their fixtures.......but then again I wouldn't be surprised if they lose to Everton - which would keep the Toffees up.
  • Yep. Nothing to do with complete indiscipline from Rob Holding. It's a conspiracy against Arsenal purely to try and keep a manager in the league.

After you type that out and read it back you realise how completely nonsensical it is.

If my Dad supported a different team to me I'd be ripping the shit out of him, taking the proverbial and basking in his misfortune  :D
If you think I take seriously half my posts you really are smart enough to be a Millwall fan.

    Thou doth protest too much.
  • It's a shame we dont have that world class var thingy that you love so much to check these incidents. Especially the penalty that shouldn't have been and the 2 yellows that never were 🤣
  • Hadn't realised Son had scored more than Kane this year, and is pretty close to getting the Golden Boot, 1 goal behind Salah now.

Oh come on now, Arsenal haven't won at WHL since 2014ish, you didn't bet on anything else other than a home win did you?

They would have had a job winning at WHL since 2017.

Spurs play Burnley & Norwich, much easier so Arsenal will need to win both.
  • Arteta proper salty. How he can moan about the decisions given against his side are laughable. It's a blatant pen, and a blatant sending off 🤦‍♂️

Glorious.  Holding could and should have been booked twice before he got his first.

Just gutted it wasn't 6 or 7.  Should have proper destroyed them.
  • Christ, Holding suspended, Gabriel limped off, White still crocked, who's playing CB Mon night.  Deary me.

I would never have called 3-0!

Simply trying to deflect attention from the fact he selected Cedric and Holding, played right back Tomiyasu at left back and although they've done ok recently we're in 2022 and Elneny and Xhaka are in midfield. Weren't Arsenal trying to shift those 2 about 2-3 years ago?

Arsenal do have some good young players, and have generally recruited well in the last year or so, but my god they still have some dead wood in their team.

Not to mention it's hardly fair on the Burnley fans who have to get to London at a really shit time.
