Everton have been linked with Chris Maxwell as their No 3 keeper, which would be yet another former Charlton keeper in the PL (well sort of seeing that he never played a game for us!)
Ex Qpr midfielder Dominic Ball has joined Ipswich.
That is two in two days for them.
Solid signing that, I mentioned him as one I hoped we might look at given he can play CB & DM, although I guess given we've got Dobson a guy who is primarily a DM isn't top of the priority list (even if Ipswixh weren't more organised than we are & willing to pay more).
Ipswich's crazy spending really worked will last season.
They didn't do well last season given what they spent but with their new manager they picked up and now have the basis of a very strong squad for L1 having barely conceded in the last 20 or so games. Much rather their squad right now than ours. Theirs needs tinkering, ours needs overhauling (again!).
Looks like Liverpool are pushing the boat out with Mane wanting to go and City getting Haaland.
They've bid €80m + add ons that could rise to €100m for Benfica's Darwin Nunez. A far cry from their usual 'buy a guy for 40m and turn him into a 100m player'.

You mean apart from the world record fees they have paid for a keeper and a center back recently?
Good signing for them. Exactly the type of player we need and one I think that we were interested in but as happens regularly, many League One targets sign for a Championship club.

1) when the window opens
2) after the manager is announced
3) 1st July after contracts expire
4) on the pitch with TS when he’s next over, he loves the limelight
5) random date related to accounting/tax
6) after we’ve sold Dobson/CBT so there’s some good news
Or we’ll just announce each signing soon after they’ve been completed.
