Kane Wilson from FGR to Bristol City looks to be happening
Post Brexit at this level it's about being the club who finds the next Kane Wilson. Any young player standing out in L1 or L2 won't be there for long.
Need to be looking at young players not getting much first team game time at our level and above, and those emerging below our level who haven't quite done it long enough to get a Championship move.
Not saying all signings need to be young of course.
Looks like Liverpool are pushing the boat out with Mane wanting to go and City getting Haaland.
They've bid €80m + add ons that could rise to €100m for Benfica's Darwin Nunez. A far cry from their usual 'buy a guy for 40m and turn him into a 100m player'.
You mean apart from the world record fees they have paid for a keeper and a center back recently?
Recently was actually 4 years ago, which is a long time in football and as is well documented they only made those signings because of the Coutinho sale. Liverpool do not typically spend that kind of money on a player, so this is definitely them pushing the boat out.
Apart from those 2 and Keita, Liverpool have never signed a player for more than 45m which when you compare to the likes of City, United and Chelsea is pretty good going.
Spurs are having a very good transfer window so far. They've agreed a 25m deal for Bissouma from Brighton. That's a bargain even though he only has 1 year left on his contract.
Arsenal fans won't be happy, he's exactly the type of player they need.

Brighton have a tricky summer. As always smaller clubs get raided by the bigger ones, and Potter will have to find replacements

Some saying he’s still under bail and that’s why he’s so cheap

Released under investigation but no bail conditions, so doesn't sound like any charges are coming his way. Spurs must have looked at it and are pretty confident he won't be charged.
He's cheap because he only has a year left on his contract.
I know it was in his contract, but that makes the Haaland fee look ridiculous
He'd surely have cost £200m had it not been in there
It's 64m initially. The 85m is with a bunch of add ons, which include things like if they win the champions league. If they end up doing that they'll consider the fee well worth it.

Massive changes at Burnley. Ben Mee, Aaron Lennon, Phil Bardsley, Dale Stephens, Erik Pieters and James Tarkowski all leaving
Be impressed if they can mount a promotion challenge next season - They still dont even have a Manager

Was told yesterday Eriksen is done too. Absolute no brainer on a free transfer.
Peterborough sign Ben Thompson

That would be a great move. He is a ready made replacement if Tielelmens goes to Arsenal

Assume any legal issues he may allegedly have had have gone away.
Good player.
