Obviously we aren’t ‘missing out’ per say as for all we know we were never in for these players but my fkn word, every decent freebie or gem is getting hoovered up. Time to see how good our scouts are

Do we even have a scouting setup these days? Assumed our scouting setup was essentially Tommy D's bedroom and that's now long gone
A lot of praise for Ipswich but to me, Sheffield Wednesday have the strongest team on paper. I can’t believe they’ve kept so many players.
Iorfa, Windass, Hutchinson, Paterson, Luongo and Bannan are all Championship players, way better than what we’ll face in League One.
Adding in Jack Hunt, Lewis Wing and Peacock-Farrell makes them an even bigger threat.
They won't all be there come 2nd August. Unfortunately they probably will be there on Saturday.
Seen Reach has just signed for WBA don't think he would go that high.
I wouldn’t be so sure, I expected them to move on but it seems that they’re all on so much money, as well as on the wrong side of 25, nobody wants to take them on.
He’s on £27k a week at Stoke and contract runs to next year. So presumably rubbish or a very expensive loan.
£27k a week ????? Not being funny but this is another great example of how f#cked up football is. The bloke has hardly done anything since he left blackpool
I don't understand why players talk about money when they want to force a move
If a players says that we wants to play in the Premier League or in Europe or win trophies, and that at the time of his career he can't afford another season in the EFL, most fans would grudgingly understand.
But referring to life changing offers and financial freedom at 25 just makes it look as if you're just interested in the money.

Joel Randall to Peterborough
Yeah remember reading he was on massive wages. Stoke signed him for £10m 3 years ago. Crazy

Oh no he isn't.
Getting in a lot of forward thinking players but not much defensively - Millwall just passed it round them the other day
