No offence but can we keep this cock off the forum? He is the very worst of the Roland years.
Yeah but he is bang on the money with this one.
Is he though?
Here's Eisa's first 20 games for P'Boro
13 goals, 1 assist.
His season was ended by a 6 game drought really as he didn't recover from his benching.
You could argue his run of bad form that season coincided with Posh's and he was the one that took the bullet for it.
Last season he was reduced to even shorter cameos starting 6 games and being subbed on late 21 times. Scored 2 assisted 2 in 741 minutes.
Eisa was benefitting greatly from playing with Marcus Maddison. Their form tailed off around the same time.
Do whatever you can to disagree the weirdo Driesen!
(Personally think Eisa needs to be the main man to perform and you need a playmaker that knows their job is to get the ball in to him - may work out at MK Dons)

You could also argue that his form dipped and the goals stopped when Maddison left for Hull 🤷♂️
He is 27 and has had one good run of 20 games above League 2.

The most mad thing about Ben white to Arsenal. Before he he was in the last England squad it was almost certain he was leaving this summer for 30m to Leeds or Liverpool. Getting into a squad and not making an appearance has but his price up 20m and arsenal willling to pay it.....mad Brighton are laughing.

I don’t know what’s more crazy, Arsenal paying £50m or him actually signing for Arsenal.

Both by the sounds of things. The family member I spoke to who works at Brighton said they couldn’t believe it. PSG were interested at one point and I think he wanted to go there but by the looks of things (his Salary) I don’t think he’s too bothered about being at arsenal. 120k+ per week!!
Harry Beadle (released by us this summer) continues to go from strength to strength at Colchester - playing for their first team again tonight - will get at least half hour against Spurs
Leeds have signed 18 year old Lewis Bate from Chelsea on a 3 year contract. Lewis was in the same Beths school team as our own Euan Williams and Richard Chin. He captained the Chelsea side that reached the 2020 FA Youth Cup final and last season he made the step up to Under-23s football, making 20 appearances as Chelsea finished runners-up in Premier League 2 Division 1. He has also won caps at youth level for England at both Under-17 and Under-18 level.
A very good move for the lad because I can't help thinking that Bielsa is a Manager who isn't afraid to throw in a youngster and it is a forward, rather than a backward, move for him.

I'm very close to the family - bielsa has told him that he is a direct understudy to Calvin Phillips (i.e is much closer to the first team than Chelsea where there are 3 or 4 in his position wheraes at Leeds, if Phillips is injured or rested, he should be in ) Lets hope it works out like that.
Can't blame the kid for wanting to go when he's got Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic and Gilmour playing in his position, and if not this summer then surely next, probably Declan Rice as well.

Bielse has been very good for his players, unlike some coaches he definitely improves players
I doubt it, they have pretty much wrapped up a loan with optiom to but deal for Atalanta number 1 GK(completed a medical yesterday i believe)so with Lloris and now Gollini I doubt Pope to Spurs is a goer
A lot of comments online saying that for that money it would've made more sense to go for Haaland but i don't agree.
Kane is a proven 30-40 goal a season striker in the Premier league, is English and also brings you minimal fuss. He also suits City's style of play more as he can drop deep and pick up the ball and then bring fast attackers into play. Haaland won't do that, as he'll just play on the shoulder of the last man, which won't help when defences go to the Etihad and sit on the edge of their box. Also with Haaland managed by his Dad/Raiola, you just know that if he signed for you there will be summer-long stories in the press every year of him going to Madrid/Barca.
Kane is 28 next week, so they'll probably get 4-5 good years out of him, so with his fee/wages combined, you're basically paying around 50-60m a season to have a world class striker in your side. Easily worth it for a side of their riches.

It's a great move for England Sterling Kane and Foden playing every week for City!!

And maybe even Grealish too.
Walker and Stones in defence. Looking good for the National side.

He doesn't bring a lot else to the party either.

Wasnt that the case with Matic when they initially sold him to Benfica
Good to see that they moved quickly to get a replacement full back in.
Yet another talented English attacking midfielder
400k a week salary
Thought you were taking the piss, then I googled it.
That's insane.
Edit: I am indeed correct.
Maybe Spurs will spend a chunk of that on Pope...
