    I think because the 3rd Umpire is expected to check for everything - catch/LBW etc etc whenever there is an appeal and he plainly didn't.

    That is two of the worst bits of TV umpiring I have ever seen.

    This is the 6th occasion that the 3rd Umpire has been the TV Umpire. He has never stood in the middle in a Test match but has done so for 47 ODIs and T20Is

    Foakes makes keeping look so easy. It's not reactive but pro active, Has the modern way of the hands go first and then the feet.

    Now, at the risk of upsetting Canters, Blackpool et al, I would really love to see Buttler at 6 and Foakes keeping the gloves at 7. And they know what that means for Messrs Pope and Burns!!!!
