I think because the 3rd Umpire is expected to check for everything - catch/LBW etc etc whenever there is an appeal and he plainly didn't.suzisausage said:Why didn’t they understand what we were appealing for?0 -

This is the 6th occasion that the 3rd Umpire has been the TV Umpire. He has never stood in the middle in a Test match but has done so for 47 ODIs and T20Is0

Foakes’ keeping has been a joy. Great to see an Englishman look so natural and relaxed behind the stumps.Pant vs the spinners is quite the battle this series. Great to watch6

Foakes makes keeping look so easy. It's not reactive but pro active, Has the modern way of the hands go first and then the feet.
Now, at the risk of upsetting Canters, Blackpool et al, I would really love to see Buttler at 6 and Foakes keeping the gloves at 7. And they know what that means for Messrs Pope and Burns!!!!1 -
