  • That's the sort of reaction one would expect from fans who have seen a forward who has scored 4 goals in 155 minutes of football this season (and put them 1-0 up) being replaced him with a midfielder who has scored 4 career League goals in the last 6 years. And then seen their side lose.

And the reaction from a Manager "who protests too much"
  • Watching Quest, a great striker's goal by Brandon Hanlan for Bristol Rovers. I always quite liked him
  • I'll get in first, another one who got away.
  • I also think Boro could be a bit of a dark horse this season
Can a Neil Warnock team really be a dark horse?

He seems to be one of these Managers who naturally gets his team competing at the right end of the table
Well maybe dark horse is not the right way of saying it.
They aint fancied though. You can still get Boro  10/1 for promotion  which seems good value to me.
  • Both Accrington vs Brizzle and Oxford vs Swindon off due to Covid, so our Tuesday opponents Oxford have a free weekend (it's Swindon who called the game off)

People will do anything to avoid having to speak with Karl Robinson!!
  • 2 defeats in a row for Ipswich, that will bring back memories of their slump last season

Great win for Pompey at a Sunderland side who until today had let in only 1 goal!

Other than Lincoln, the rest of the top 8 are teams you'd expect to be up there. Maybe Lincoln will be this year's Shrewsbury from 3 seasons ago

You had Luton two years ago... Wycombe and Fleetwood last year... there is ALWAYS at least one surprise package in this league
  • Wycombe so close to their first point of the season then lost in the 91st minute at Norwich.

    Played 7, lost 7.

Yep should never of got there. Just highlights the ridiculous decision of PPG.

Scunthorpe have postponed THREE matches due to Covid, as 8 players have tested positive and a further 10 needing to self isolate
  • Accrington have suspended there next 2.

Interesting choice of words in the EFL statement  not postponed but suspended(although they do mention postponed later in the statement) and the circumstances around it are being investigated

  • Great to see Wycombe are off the mark earning a 1-1 draw with Watford of all teams!!

Already having to reschedule 3 games into what is a packed, condensed season is going to cause them issues later in the season.
  • Very surprised by how well Reading are doing. 7 points clear already.

A manager who had no experience of English football, had been out of work for almost a year and didn't exactly tear up trees in his last role (32% win record at Chicago). Had all the makings of a disaster, but they're absolutely flying.
  • They have spent a tonne over the last few years though, especially on wages.

I feel like Reading have players that have no right to be in the Championship.

Olise they plucked from the Man City academy. Yakou Méïté from PSG. Ovie Ejaria from Liverpool. Their keeper was in the Champions League at Napoli.

It was either going to lead to the Premier League or they'd be going bust. Glad for their sake it seems like it's finally coming together.
  • Drone stopped play.
