There's been a few good matchups already, including Japan Ireland and Wales Australia, and I like seeing the smaller Pacific Islands against each other, but there have been a few walkovers as well
Saw a bit of that, really hard to get invested when the result was guaranteed
exactly .. the tournament proper starts at the KO stage
So, do you think England v Argentina on Saturday is a friendly warm-up?
It's hardly as tough a match as some have had to play so far (Wales v Aus, NZ V SA for example). Yes it's our toughest to date, but we should really be looking to win convincingly if we're serious about winning the whole thing.
1.) the women commentator is beyond awful saying how it’s difficult to play rugby after it’s been raining. 2.) just heard that there are 3 brothers who play for 3 different nations australia tonga fuji
With regards to 2, that could be place of birth, mothers place of birth and fathers place of birth so not that bad
soo many countries are using residency rules for player qualification

Breakdown of the birth places of the Japan starting XV against Ireland .. Japan 7, NZ and SA 2 apiece .. Australia, S Korea, Tonga, Samoa, 1 apiece ..
Nice story after the Japan/Ireland game .. at a railway station Ireland supporters were serenading Japan fans with the Andy Williams song, 'You're Just Too Good to be True' .. the locals joined in the chorus .. 'I love you baby and if it's quite alright I need you baby to warm the lonely nights' .. terrific story .. can't imagine this after a CAFC/Lions game ((:>)

9/11/19 (palindrome time) .. Lions v Christians @ the New Den
Enjoying managing to watch my first England game of this WC. Every time I watch a rugby match it makes me question why footballers can’t have the same respect for the referee as rugby players. Why all the swearing, racism, and general bad behaviour? Rugby players just seem so much better bought up...

There's an old saying, with a lot of truth in it: “Football is a gentleman's game played by hooligans, and rugby is a hooligan's game played by gentlemen."
Not exactly a surprise to see NZ winning at half time, but what is definitely a surprise is that Namibia (who were beaten 57-3 by SA last week) have scored 9 points against the All blacks.

Bonus point already
Red card changed the game though - it was just damage limitation for Arg after that.
Too much kicking in second half for my liking.
71-9
