Has he ever been in winter? It’s very cold, much colder than the north of England. Big club though so not surprised. Premier and Championship not the only leagues in the world and he can always move abroad and find quality football after he’s discovered it’s too cold. Would happily have him back at Charlton though. Seems a good lad and could have made a big contribution this season. Too many reasons to leave unfortunately.

Personally, can't see anything wrong with what LB said.
We want the best for Aribo, don't we?
I think it would be beneficial to him...if he parted ways with his current manager, on good terms.
"In my opinion, you're making a big mistake Joe...but it's your mistake to make. Good luck".
Or, just tell him he's an idiot...but keep it private.
100% with you on this D.
Its key in a managerial role not to make statements or take a position which could expose you to hypocrisy if subsequent events go against you.
Curbs and Fergie were masters of the minimist approach to good football management. Never give away your position and keep that in house. Public discourses should be somewhat staged and based on the famous "mind games".
So aribo plays 40 games, scores 10, bosses the league and Rangers stop the 10 in a row. Is that a bad move as you are now on your way to either CL or top ten PL.
Dont blame Lee at all...so understandable. Its not fair on lee at all.
One person to blame. The cnut who played negotiation games 12 months ago and halved the contract offer.
Back on the Glasgow topic. Just back from a v nice meal at an excellent and busy Italian restaurant. On table next to us was Alex McLeish and family. He was generally left in peace, apart from the priest (yes, really, black robes, dog collar and all) who came to shake his hand and a young lad who wanted a selfie on the way out.
I’m really disappointed with Joe. Unfortunately he has been heavily influenced by his slimy agent. I’m not normally bitter about players leaving but this is about money not about football. But ultimately this is down to poor management from RD
Hamer, Poyet and Elliot all left for football reasons?

No elitism and nowhere to hide in this city.
So is Aribo signing for Gers or not?
Probably waiting to see if slippy G goes to Derby.
Bonkers dream about Joe, dreamt that he did sign for Rangers but within 24 hours put in a transfer request. As a club welcome the Rangers team took him out on the raz, they put it all over Instagram etc of recording him while he was out of it. One of their centre backs snuck up behind him and smashed his head off a lampost, one spiked him and then there was just loads of videos of him doing mental stuff in the streets of Glasgow.
Next day he was at a press conference crying saying he regretted the move
obviously something amiss, maybe another club has come in with a late offer, maybe Joe is having second thoughts, maybe we have said wait a few days and we will make a better offer after the takeover or probably none of the above.
Cross-border transfer rules mean the Light Blues are set to pay just £300,000 for the former Arsenal, Celtic and Southampton target.
But it’s believed the Addicks offered the 22-year-old a new and improved long-term deal a year ago - only to withdraw it and then offer HALF the initial figure.Aribo underwent a Gers medical in London on Monday.
He’s expected to hook up with his new team-mates at their Algarve training camp.
Rangers have evidently agreed to wait to announce Aribo until such time as we're in a position to announce - presumably - Oztumer, and hopefully someone else.
Comments
I disagree with LB for saying that openly and publicly.
"Good luck to Joe. He is leaving the club. We wish him well"
That was all that was really needed.
I agree with LB. He is 99% right about what he said.
There's just a time and a place for it. In my opinion.

So far the Rangers medical team have bought 3 season tickets but have said that the results are imminent.
Well, that seems most likely, anyway
