shit move for him i think also for us is a shame he didn't go English as we would have received more and that cnut we call an owner might of given lee a bit also those slating the academy wasnt joe bought in from non league?
your assumption that cnut would have released any of the paltry compo to LB is nonsense tho isn't it - any cash inflows are going straight to he himself the cnut aren't they?

Yes, I'm sure Lee has already been given his budget, although within that he may have agreed a percentage of transfer fees!
I liked what Paul Elliot said once in an interview. He was asked about the big moments in his career and derbies. The interviewer suggested the Celtic v Rangers matches must have been the pinnacle. Elliot said these games were the ones that meant the least to him as it was all based on bigotry. If those two teams went out of business it wouldn't do Scottish football any harm and would give me a good laugh!

Unless you are employed by Roland which I presume your aren’t it’s an opinion and a reasonable one, say he receives 300k instead of 30k he might of gave Lee half to boost the team. Even if that pays Williams wages for a few months etc

I'll be honest I can't even wish Joe the best on his move, don't want to see that club do well what so ever. Their fan base are a bunch delusional gorms. All I'm seeing is them slating Bowyer saying he was a bang average player when he would have been one of the best players to play for Rangers in recent years, that their stadium is world class when frankly it looks like any other regular English stadium except it's got an extra tier and that they're one of the biggest clubs in the world when there is at least 8 or so in this country alone.
If anything hope he kicks on early and gets swooped up after his first year, don't want that club benefitting from a good footballer like Joe at all
Rangers fans are being totally bizarre on social media about this. Literally don't think any fan was saying anything about them being shit, and we definitely weren't really aspiring to keep him.
Now they're lording it all over, spouting off about nicking our best player for pennies (he was out of contract!) and how tinpot we are, when us fans have basically said nothing all that disparaging. (Granted, Bowyer's comments would have pissed them off, but still.)
I don't like Celtic v Rangers derbies as I want them both to lose and that is impossible. I'd like to think that if I was a professional footballer, my personal standards would prevent me for signing for either. I would also like to think I wouldn't sign for Real Madrid for their fascist links. Fortunately I was never good enough to have my standards tested - £20k a week is a lot of money.

They really are bells aren't they.
You would think a team from Scotland calling others tinpot should look no further than there tinpot excuse of a national side scott brown coming out of retirement for the England games to get dicked at Wembley then we scored a last min goal to break there hearts at Hampden, stick to wearing your kilts and Argentina shirts boys
Love all the Rangers fans bragging about signing him and going to a proper club. Looking forward to reading the messages in a years time when they announce he's leaving for a Premier League club. #Steppingstone
but hes gone now so that's it wont lose too much sleep over it, did post the usual thanks to everyone at the club i was playing at staines town etc, would of liked to of seen him stay on for a year and then see what happens - but up to him.
on a separate now how has jimmy tarbuck swindled a freindly at ibrox?.
RANGERS are delighted to announce the signing of Joe Aribo from English Championship side Charlton Athletic, subject to international clearance.
The highly rated 22-year-old, who had options to move elsewhere, has made the decision to join the Gers on a four-year-deal.
London-born Aribo, who plays as an attacking midfielder, started his career at Staines Town, impressing to win their academy Player of the Year Award in 2014 and be offered a trail at Charlton.
After signing for the Addicks he went on to make his first-team debut in October 2016, making 22 appearances in the 2016/17 season. His first goal came in November 2017 and he followed it up with five more during that campaign.
Last season the youngster made 39 appearances and hit double figures, netting 10 times to catch the eye of a number of suitors.
Speaking about his new signing manager Steven Gerrard said: “There were a lot of clubs in for Joe around Europe, in the Premier League and the Championship. There was a lot of interest in him but for me it’s just another top player joining Rangers.
“He’s mobile, dynamic, can burst past a player and create and score goals. There is room for him to develop but he’ll give us something we’ve not got in the midfield department.
“He’s left footed, which is something we don’t have in our midfield at the moment so he’ll give us more balance. We have a good midfield but currently we don’t have a player with Joe’s characteristics.
“He is tall, athletic and quick. He’s a box-to-box player and is not afraid to open the door when he gets around the box and he can unlock defences.
“We’re confident we can turn Joe into an even better player and I’m really looking forward to working with him.
“He’s still young and we firmly believe there is a lot to come from him, but we need to be patient in order to allow him to continue his development and to improve as a player with the club.”

If they cleaned the shit out of their ears and eyes, they'd realise that Bowyer wasn't digging out Rangers, but the standard of Scottish football. Joe's already proven himself at League 1 level, which is what the SPL basically is outside of Glasgow. The only thing he gains by going to Rangers over even another Championship club is a few pound notes and some experience playing in front of large crowds.
I don't particularly begrudge him moving on, although for the first time in a while I can honestly say I think he'd have got what he needs right now, development wise, by staying here, but I don't think the SPL was the right place for him to go.
Can't begin to describe how gutted I feel at the moment, that great day at Wembley only a month ago seems light years away and we are seeing the squad depleting in front of our eyes. Fully agree this is a less that great move for Joe and to be honest he should have given us at least one season in The Championship so I don't particularly wish him well.
As for Duchatelet I only wish the worst for him, he is now asset stripping the club whilst pretending to be trying to sell it, his actions are truly despicable, the actions of a demented, vindictive prick! I can see us as the whipping boys of the league, next season could be a miserable season the only small ray of light is the continued presence of Steve Gallen and of course Lee Boyer, who by the way was very nearly gone as well.
The EFL is peopled by a bunch of ineffective, self serving, cowardly no marks and the sooner this non-organisation is disbanded and consigned to history the better for the game and maybe, just , maybe it will save another club being handed over to a rich fool with vainglorious ideas that have no place in any sporting arena.
As for the Rangers fans......F**k off you wouldn't know a decent football team if it arrived and bought you lunch.
Rant over and I still don't feel any better what a black day
Had he moved to a Premier League club then a lot of people would be saying “whys he doing that, he won’t play regularly etc”.
Either way - Joe gets to improve his earnings significantly, play regular football in Britain, and doesn’t have to be fucked around regarding contract discussions anymore like he was at Charlton. I think it’s a better move than some are giving credit for.

If and when that happens they'll make at least 15m profit.

I think he has had a lot of talent, not sure Rangers will do the best for him, good luck though Ko.
How much of the Grant money was reinvested? Zero.
Lookman? Some ditches.
