Brexit voters don't care about everybody getting poorer, everybody's children getting poorer, the repatriation of EU citizens, the repatriation of UK citizens, the disappearance of the workforce in the Health and Care sector, unharvested food rotting in the ground, harsh travel restrictions especially in air travel, Kent becoming a car park, cooperation in medicines, academia and security finishing, the break up of the UK, the rise of racist hate crimes, the return of bloodshed in Ireland and elsewhere, the abandonment of UK democracy and eternal rule by the UK privileged establishment.
No brexiters care as long as they get the complete mystery that they voted for. Any other viewpoint is project fear.

This all really would be terrible

Except none of it has happened
There has been a rise in racist hate crime incidents since brexit. Local 'democracy' has been handed over to the DUP. EU health care workers are bailing, but it hasn't happened because brexit hasn't happened yet.
But of course if somebody is a brexiter reality hasn't happened and they wouldn't care if it did...unless it held up the production of blue passports, that would be a real tragedy.
Your making yourself look rather foolish... I mean too when i post, your now going on as if you have lost it.
If you of all peop!e say I am foolish that is all the compliment anybody could wish for.
For the millionth time YOU WON and what I look like is irrelevant, it is what YOU look like that matters now, have you solved the Irish border issue yet, because that situation is 100% down to you?
Lol... Mr honourable.... Take your medication... For the millionth time I DO NOT CARE... You on bonus every time you mention it.... If you were you would be a millionaire. Was trying to help you too.
The first two words I wrote on this subject today was 'nobody cares' so you have no need to shout it, I get it OK.
All you need bother with is to make whatever you are supposed to have voted for happen. If it becomes more of a disaster than it already is it is entirely down to you.
My wife, son, stepson and daughter in law have all had to suffer post brexit racism and that is your responsibility. Never mind, you won and you don't care.
What do you think then of a 19 year old irish man raping a14 year old English girl... And getting away with it... And then of all things living afterwards in Erith.
Rapists get away with stuff because there is a serious flaw in the justice system, and the way society regards rape as a crime, and there are flaws regarding support for rape victims.
When I was younger, three times as a small boy, an ENGLISH man sexually abused me, three different people and all strangers to boot. It doesn't mean I hate the English.
People of all nationalities commit sex crimes, it is the crime that is to be hated, not the nationality.
Your anti-Irish racism goes beyond any personal experiences you may or may not have endured either first or second hand, and your constant sniping against the Irish on here suggests that your racism will never leave you.
The 19 year old was my grandfather, the 14 year old was my grandmother, in those days they weren't allowed to abort... His sentence by a magistrate in Gravesend in 1937 was to be not allowed within 15 miles away , btw the magistrate was from Dublin also... 20 odd years later he tracked her down and lifted a oak table over his own illegitimate daughter who was married and carrying my sister.. Nice piece of shit... I wont even go into the IRA days and the irish thieves i have had the mis fortune to be in charge off over the years. Ask me the border question again and i will.
  • Have you thought up a solution to the post brexit Irish border?

So.........anyway, moving the discussion on, here's some reports on the issue farmers are already having getting their crops harvested. Which apparently isn't happening according to some.

Here's a report relating to Kent... "the NFU’s County Advisor for Kent, Amanda Corp, says something has changed since the Brexit vote:

"There were problems, but it was fairly stable. People were getting the labour they needed. But what we have seen over the last two years is a steady fall in the number of migrant workers.

“It’s definitely in relation to Brexit issues. With migrant workers being uncertain about whether they will be welcome here or not, and with the fall in the pound."

Cornwall..."since the Brexit vote, staffing levels for farms had dropped to 65 per cent of what would normally be required."

    https://independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/cornwall-council-appeal-government-crops-rotting-migrant-labour-a8049391.html

Scotland..."farm outside St Andrews produces potatoes, carrots, parsnips, broccoli, cauliflower, said his farm suffered a 15 per cent drop in the number of workers between August and November.

“We simply could not harvest everything, and as a result we left produce in the field to rot,”

    https://independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/uk-crops-eu-farm-workers-brexit-referendum-rot-manpower-recruitment-numbers-a8194701.html

East Anglia..."Food is already “rotting in the fields” of East Anglia due to a shortfall of seasonal farm workers – making the vital supply of labour the most urgent issue to address for Brexit policymakers."

Nationally..."Growers are wondering how they are going to get through the [2018] season,” said Alison Capper, the chair of the NFU’s horticulture board. “There is an element of desperation.” She said numerous farms had been forced to leave produce to rot due to lack of labour, but that they did not publicise this because of fears of undermining the confidence of their supermarket customers."

Never fear @Bournemouth Addick. Esther McVey has her cunning plan to get all those lazy teenagers to do a few hours after school and at weekends. Plus of course there is Owen Paterson's idea for pensioners to do their bit. It'll be just like the good old days

I can't help but imagine a lot of them thought Brexit would mean ring-fencing the UK economy thus eliminating foreign competition. I'm afraid Mr Giles it does't quite work like that.

Bloody hell. Am I right in thinking a large part of the farming community voted to leave? I reckon those Royal Navy and Join the Army adverts might have to change from ‘seeing the world and belonging’ to reconnaissance missions in cabbage fields based on the above
This, https://infacts.org/farmers-reap-harvest-voting-brexit/ seems to suggest 58% of farmers voted for Leave. Go figure...
    Brilliant

Blue passport appeal. This could get interesting

Political incorrectness gone mad. for the bids to be that far apart, I find it had to believe that De La Rue were doing anything but profiteering in the back of being a UK bidder. It all backfired on them, they should put up and shut up.

An interesting radio programme from Radio 4 this week, especially for @seth plum https://bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09xjh95.
  • This is the "democracy" and sovereignty that quitters voted for...

An interesting radio programme from Radio 4 this week, especially for @seth plum https://bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09xjh95.

I would also recommend the BBC's documentary by Patrick Kielty that was on this week around the peace process/GFA.

Whatever people might think about his comedic ability is irrelevent. I never realised he'd lost his dad to loyalist paramilitaries as a 16 year old yet was not only able to cope with that, and even use the sectarian situation in his material literally only a year or two later, but was able to put his personal loss to one side when voting for the GFA, which he knew woud see the release of his dad's killers.

He talks to both sides of the divide, both those involved and just ordinary people about how their lives have moved on since and about the threat Brexit poses to the GFA.
That was an amazing programme. Kudos to the blind bloke and the soldier that shot him for meeting up. That must have taken one hell of a lot of bravery from both of them. Though I thought it was a bit cruel when Kielty said to him, "so what I'm looking at now is basically the last thing you ever saw" - yeah thanks for that, Paddy. I didn't realise that rubber bullets were so huge.

The fact that that guy and the soldier that blinded him as a child are able to sit together and have any sort of relationship at all is quite humbling. The thought of getting that lump square between the eyes is horrifying.

    I highly recommend it https://bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b09y26jk/my-dad-the-peace-deal-and-me

Whatever side of the Brexit debate one sits on, watching that should make everyone determined not to turn the clock back to the time before the GFA. Even massive cockwombles like Daniel Hannon who thinks it's failed ffs!

Add that to the Leave EU twitter boosting Enoch Powell earlier. Brexit was masterminded by undisguised racists. But it isn't too late to admit it and with your head held high disassociate yourself from these self-serving fuckers
