What really matters is we get this takeover done and get back to at least the championship and have a team and club that we can enjoy again. My kids have probably seen 1 decent season since they've been going and it would be nice to have a few more. When i started supporting, we were crap, but at least i saw the promotion of mid 80's, the re birth in the 90's and the prem days - lets hope we can do something similar in the near future.

thanks Markg2004. I don't mind him sharing something I picked up. The issue was that I asked him something verbally a year (in person) and he gave me the cold shoulder. He posts about "takeover imminent" and "done deal" when clearly it wasn't, then blames others for people misentrepraeing what he meant. (Well how else could you?). I asked him to PM here ang got ignored. and yes I would be a hyprocrite if I sad I didn't share and forward messages. Anyway I have said my piece now and "got it off my chest"

Fair point. He's very good about me going to football though - as he's not a great fan of football. He seems to enjoy the long peaceful afternoons working on his computer.....Odd though, as he retired 3 years ago.

btw - rick everitt is not one of those i like to annoy - i think the guy is very intelligent, has charlton's best interests at heart and needs to be brought back into the fold as he has a lot to offer in getting the club back to where it should be

Question.. if and when Charlton are sold do Roland and the third party have to sign the same contract at the same time together.......ie be sitting in the same office together.

Bidder A: Scottish Muir and his associates pulled out because RD wanted too much for the club. This has been confirmed in a recent interview by McLeish.
Bidder B: Aussie Muir (not part of the AFC Consortium) is still in the frame and is RD's "preferred bidder"? Offer accepted by RD.
@Redhenry as yet unnamed (but supposedly mega rich) Chinese/Arabs/Russians is possibly the second bidder still in the mix. Offer accepted by RD.
