A chicken and mushroom pot noodle was the snack of choice of the British Army on the Rhine in the 80's.
The naafi coudnt keep up with demand, the pots fit perfectly in your bergan side pouches and a shimuli (pyro rocket) lid fit over foil snug so kept it waterproof.
Best served with minimum water so stodgy and beteeen to slices of army bread and butter. A true life saver when keeping the Russian hordes at bay!
I’ve never liked pot noodles, all that is wrong with our food in a sealed plastic pots. Next time you are in Sainsbury’s have a look at the price/Kg. It’s a shocker, some of these junk “foods” are £20+/Kg.
IF the takeover is to be announced on Monday then are we to presume that the Australian bid has finally won out ?
Redhenry posted that the consortium he had been told about were submitting a second bid this past week. Surely it is too soon for that bid to have been assessed, accepted and a deal struck during the same week ?

Just my musings.
Airman has stated that a second bid has been accepted.

Never eaten a pot noodle . Used to have to bring a pack lunch to school 1980ish when I was 10-11 and all I did was lob em all under my bed and eat sweets, chocolate and crisps at school from the tuck shop for lunch . Still remember when mum made the phone call to my friends house where I was having a sleepover after she’d found the mouldy sandwiches and a few cartoons of unused pot noodle under my bed . Sorry can’t really add much to the pot noodle debate but there’s my token shit gesture .

"In terms of speculation from CL posters, @Airman Brown states that the legal source who has said the previous week it is a ‘done deal’ is sticking to that, and also suggests that two parties have agreed a price with Roland.

If (and it's a very big if) it is announced on Monday then we won't have to presume anything, we'll know.
When it's on the OS and then Doucher can tell us he knew all along.

The cheese and tomato pot noodle and the coconut boost should be bought back.

My therapist says it will all end soon. The madness is nearly over. And now I believe it.

This is a Charlton Athletic takeover thread mate. It's full to the brim of bullshit and will most likely end in spectacular disappointment.
