Some of the posts since Thursday have been beyond silly, ESI haven’t had time to complete deals, do the contract talks with Bow, but have had time to quickly deal with the hole caused by Leko injury. Chill out, let’s see how the next few transfer windows play out

Tahnoon Nimer has said “ Let’s make this club Great again “, he’s not stupid, he knows how much that’s going to cost. So stop all this panicking for goodness sake.
Next week will be very busy, all the Christmas games out of the way and a complete week to sort out contracts for staff and players and any new transfers. I am not ITK, but expect another new player joining us before Saturday
To be completely honest, I think reserve championship or league one players are Bowyers choices, here is why - Hungry, will want to prove themselves at a higher level and most importantly will fight for our club.
He isn't going to spend 5m on some established championship player if he knows his not going to get %100 from them.
If Bowyer feels that a portsmouth winger who has the desire and works hard for the team can step up and is the right player for us, then I'm %100 behind that signing.
In SG, LB, JJ and team we trust.
agreed - pick off the best players from the division you've just come from - the pompey guy seems a perfect example - feisty, high energy, in your face character who is looking for the next step up

Lee Bowyer said strange or unusual when the first offer was made by Duchatelet. If after talking to Matt Southall, Lee has said strange again about a contract then its getting stranger.
This drama is still unfolding and the Charltonisation of fans and players is a recognised medical condition. It made the year's shortlist for new words to be included in the 2019 English Oxford Dictionary but was beaten by dejunk: getting rid of old Rubbish and things of no further use.
Fully agree with LTGTR. Another issue is wages, bringing in key players now is going to cost, also injured players will be back, so we don't need to buy a new side now. Summer is a different scenario with many out of contract. Can see loans and journeymen.
With hindsight, it is odd that Roland made a positive first impression by replacing the seats. I wonder why he did that. A cheap win? Seems odd given how tight he was.
I’m assuming that ESI will appoint a competent, qualified, experienced CEO as one of their first decisions.
I believe they have already said that Matt Southall will be Chairman and CEO, although that might be a short term arrangement. We will have to wait and see if he is competent (he certainly knows how to use PR and has a feel for fan engagement) and hopefully his lack of direct experience will not be a major factor.
A whole week in charge and this is the state of the numbering in the West Stand today.
ESI OUT
Been buying week-to-week in the West since the takeover news broke. I can never find my seat for certain, often having to rely on it being the only one available - they are all like this.

How apt for Roland Duchatelet.
ESI OUT
Perhaps ESI need to monitor his efficiency?
Within his remit, but I’d question if it’s within his capabilities.
And fish. Always there's fish.
Oh, and Grapevine's account was childishly hacked - with a one liner. I mean, I ask you!
And the Aussies aren't officially out of the running.
Other than that, no, crack on.
Duchatelet would never have allowed this.
Years of heavy duty pile cream has eaten right through the plastic..
