Wonder if we might see some 'random' companies sponsoring us in the near future? HEs' company has a big umbrella covering what was it? 60 business'? Be one way round FFP wouldnt it?
I quite fancy Etihad Airlines to sponsor us at some point
People need to stop second guessing and stop worrying about what will transpire
you can not contain paranoia about every aspect and movement ESI will make
it’s our club it will always be our club but it’s their money their business to run
Allow them to do so without fear of criticism at every turn
there is much to be done some that I am sure will be very popular and much that will be unpopular but we won’t get the full story on any of it so and not should we
Start enjoying football again without the backdrop of RD for a while and without the cynicism that has crept in and for good reason.
Some need to learn to trust again
Very well said @nth_london_addick, couldnt agree more. Now is not the time for dissecting every detail. Now is a time after 6 long weary years, to enjoy the football, see what happens with ESI in charge for the rest of this season and read/listen to any of their statements (if they make any) about future plans. Now is the time for fans 'factions' to come together and support the team on the pitch and of course LB and his coaches, and help the team move back up the division, and by 'factions' I mean those that supported RD, those that tolerated RD and those that fought to remove RD. What the club now needs is unity and full support from everyone. This has to be a time to rejoice and 'chill', its time to show other clubs how CAFC fans are we we are one!!! Live, Love,Laugh and be Happy!!!

I think one thing that will help this process is that very few people were still actively supporting Duchatelet's ownership, so I doubt that anyone at all is actually anti ESI. Wary, possibly given the history of previous ownerships, but anti, no.
So I'm with the big fella in North London (and @Redmidland) when I say judge them on their actions, and at least give them a chance to get their business model up and running, and I'm certain their fan engagement will be off the scale compared to that of the previous regime. It's never going to be plain sailing, even with a decent cash investment, but the future feels brighter than it has for a very long time.
What this thread really needs is a few more posts about the need to give ESI a chance. It's the only hope we have of preventing the massive rebellion that is clearly brewing.
Our Injury situation cannot be coincidental, I believe that there is clearly something in the water and maybe Roland was onto something when he took away bottled water. #RolandIn
Just pleased it’s all done! We move forward now, get behind the new owners and at @JamesSeed suggests we judge them on their actions. Let’s hope they’re our route back to stability and success.

I’m afraid I can’t help you there .
I’m not hanging about to judge them on what they do, I’m pre empting that they’ll be disastrous owners following in the recently established tradition of Charlton AC (After Curbs) I can see through all the smarmy soundbites of waffle that everyone wants to hear and I’m not fooling for it . My boycott starts now , I’m not going to any FA Cup home matches this season in January

Well I hope you'll be pleased with yourself when they read your post and put the club back up for sale, because that's how it works.

Well I’ve been talking of relegation for a while so if that happens I’ll take the blame for that as well . Stay positive we’re going up (for sale)

I've seen more posts about people complaining we're not giving them a chance, than I have from people not giving them a chance. It's proper weird. It's like how I saw more people getting offended at people saying Bowyer should be sacked, than people saying he should be sacked.
Either way, ESI have not made a mega multi-million pound signing yet. I've given them enough of a chance over the last three days and nothing has happened. It's unacceptable and where is my Mbappe please. #HisExcellencyOut
Wakey, Wakey people. If Taylor and Bonne aren't fit this month we WILL be in the bottom 3 by February 1st unless 2 strikers of Championship quality are fit and up to speed and leading CAFC front line. Positive action and being pro active breeds positivity not just " oh everything will be alright because that nasty man Duchatelet has gone" I still want Steve Gallen to be discerning like making sure that new permanent and loanees don't have disabled stickers on their car window screens. Unless football becomes like Ice skating and the performances are subjective, it's strikers that score regularly that win matches and as spirited as the young midfield and forwards were against Swansea, 5.9 on the old scoreboard doesn't win football matches. ( Going on the scoring system when Torville and Dean were getting 6's)

Whilst things will hopefully change for the better, there is no guarantee new signings will turn things around.
Hopefully we can return to displays like Fulham away and the first half against Forest, then I'd like to think it would be sufficient for us to stay up.
Gallen and Bowyer surely had a list of players for the new board, one totally different to the old ownership.
If ESI do the right things both actual and PR there won’t be any issue. Right now there seems to be a bit of a news vacuum which needs sorting. I don’t agree we should ever stop scrutinising what owners do with our club, but good comms will help with that.

In what way? Bearing in mind it's been just over 48hrs
Interesting that HE T. Nimer accepted me as a contact on LinkedIn a few weeks ago, yesterday he posted the takeover on his profile. Today I've been reading just some of the many responses and they are from across the globe and from high level appointments in companies. However 2 stood out, a football agency from Uruguay and Brazil giving a contact number for potential players and another from Africa covering the entire continent again giving contact numbers if interested in African players. HE T. Nimer seems to be have stirred some of his LinkedIn contacts that's for sure!

And it's Duchatelet's fault that we only have Taylor and Bonne.

This is a result of 8? years of concern by the fans.
ESI will do wonders for themselves if we can trust them, hopefully that will start with an immediate announcement that they own EVERYTHING.

Still expect some "friends of friends" company name to appear on the shirts.
