This seems to be doing the rounds quite quickly, which means from what I can see from twitter, a lot of journos have been sitting on this for a while. Which either means this is happening fairly imminently, or it’s a last attempt by the buyer to push through the sale.
Questioned myself towards the end of the season if Roland would be more eager to sell if we were in the Championship
If this goes through then surely its clear that he never wanted us out of League One
I mean the fact that not one contract has been renewed yet, even JFC for example who you’d assume would just sign straight away, is it all due to this?
This story (about Dalman) is now 'breaking' everywhere, BBC just picked it up, Cardiff City on-line also quoting it, obviously the Evening Standard now confirming they knew about it 3 months ago...this i think either has legs and is putting pressure on RD to sell, or RD using it to put pressure on the Aussies. As i said in a post a few minutes ago...I believe something is happening and he's gone by 24th June.

What's special about June 24th?
@cafcwill I think that's when the players come back from holiday, and start pre-season. So those out of contract 6 days later may (if this takeover goes through) be offered new terms etc. Just a hunch, that is seems a good time to have it all sewn up.
Can confirm this one has legs, been keeping that close to my chest for months
Dalman on the left. Who’s the other gentleman?
William McGonagall.
He wrote this poem:
There was a young Belgian called Roland Duchatetelet, Who said he would sell Charlton without dismay. He said there must be a buyer out there somewhere, But none would match his asking price I do declare. Everyone who tried negotiating with Roland found that he had lost his reason, With the result that he will be with us for at least one more season.
