I'm not putting up with this nonsens any more. Theres no way 'takeover' should be hyphenated!i_b_b_o_r_g said:

Here's some wild speculation. It's a consortium based around some of the former directors, headed up by Richard Murray. They've offered to cancel the £7m debt in return for control of the football club, leasing the Valley and Sparrows Lane from Duchatalet. The debt to be paid off by rent over the next twenty years. Murray gets control of the club. Duchatalet gets his full asking price, paid as rent on the assets. And we only have to wait another twenty years before seeing if Murray will sell the club to a proper investor.

Btw - I've personally got nothing against the Aussies, but I can't see what's wrong with questioning everything and everyone involved in this "take-over".2 -
Oh God Rick, not another 'interested party' I can't take another six months plus of this nonsense.Airman Brown said:

If they hold all the aces then they are playing a very bad hand imo. Season starts in 5 days time & transfer window shuts in 10 days time. Roland is selling players for peanuts & as it stands our front line on Saturday will be a player loaned out last season & the other a youngster who hasn't scored a league goal in his career. If they are playing "the long game" then someone had better tell them that it has taken us 3 years (and counting) to get out of this league.......it will take a damn sight longer than 5 to even get into the Championship from league 2.Taxi_Lad said:I have no inside info but my guess is that the Aussies are holding up the deal and who can blame them. RD must want rid, he’s losing money month by month and will struggle to get another offer anywhere near this one. The Aussies hold all the aces IMO
As for the delay causing the Aussies grief, I believe @JamesSeed previously mentioned that GM told him that they weren’t bothered as they are in for the long haul
As I said last week, I don't who is worse.......Roland or the Aussies.2 -
Please be Red Henry's lot.9

Do you think it might be a misplaced hyphen that's holding things up? Or maybe it's a minus sign?JamesSeed said:

Heard from someone ITK that takeover won't happen this week. The fire in the Blackwell Tunnel on Saturday delayed the completion....2

Debt -£7m
AM - "Fackin ell sheila, the clubs minus £7m in debt, that means we're owed £7m don't it? Yibidi yibida thank ya mather for the rabbits"
....10 slow months pass.
RD "Sorry huh. Shoulda been an equals shine huh. You're shtill intereshted though, huh?"

IF this takeover happens. I think the first thing the owners should do, is have a proper Q&A with fans, so questions can be asked about the vision, the plan, and the delay of the deal going through. Think that will be a good start, and give fans a little more comfort.7

IF it is Murray holding up the takeover then what on earth is wrong with that man?
It's like someone someone say to him "your reputation with the fans couldn't get any lower Richard" and he replies "hold my beer"16 -
Reg fronted the first approach sometime ago. Looks like he has been waiting in the wings. You heard it here first.5

I'm not ITK but I heard recently from a hospitality suite regular, that Reg was involved earlier in this saga and I don't mean his failed attempt to have a meeting with the Rat, so it may have some substance.J BLOCK said:

Can we just close the thread, pray for league one survival and then start a new one this time next season?? I can’t do this anymore.3
