An under achieving squad, managed by an under achieving manger. Mediocrity is the order of the day, we are bland, vanilla, mid table leauge one side. 14 fecking draws. Says it all !
Unfortunately, I still care and it still hurts, even our under achieving is bland. A few weeks ago we were above Millwall, and they were looking in trouble. But even that cunt Harris has the ability to get them back on track. We don't have ups and downs, we just have fecking mediocre.
K.R may not be the answer to our problems, but neither is he the cause of our problems.
I sound like a broken record repeating myself but, 'for a club to succeed the STRUCTURE at the club needs to be right'. Everyone singing from the same hymn sheet etc.
Obviously not been the case at our club for 3 years now. That's why i will be going to St-Truiden on March 4th. El presidente may or may not listen to us, but I cannot just stand by and watch our club subsiding to third division mediocrity.
Fan since '89. Left early. 1-1 written all over it. Gutless, no-one gave a f**k just like the majority of fans were more interested in Stoke v Palace. Gobshite wanker of a 'manager'. Couldn't care less when heard they'd equalised. I detest these people for how they've made me feel about my club.
Boat was fantastic, thanks to all.
Was you standing with nla and North stand Steve ,if so was me who gave a few cheers when stoke scored
Can't be doing that twice in two weeks. I'd say that's the problem of having a young squad but we've got an experienced back four who should be able to see out a game. A frontline with Watt, Novak and Holmes in League 1 should also be producing more than just one set piece goal. It's all very odd
I've been a fan of KR but I hope in a way he doesn't do the media stuff this week. He should be so pissed off with the last two results the focus has to be totally on wins now. Not sound bites.
Next up Oldham and Rochdale away. If that''s not mouth-watering enough, we follow with two tasty homes against Oxford and Bury. Grinding it out in Division 3. Put another coach on to Belgium to help make these clowns finally sell up and piss off. Nowhere near enough done in the January window once again. Clear out in the close season once more and the charade will start again. We are simply a feeder club folks - if you can't see it, you never will#theyarekillingourclub.
On a positive note....; 6th place over the past 5 years has never been more than 74pts. If we maintain our points ratio since xmas we will be more or less bang on! Clutching at straws?? Probably
Lookman was a big loss , even Magennis isn't prolific at this level. I just can't see us scoring enough goals to get into the play - offs . Mid table mediocrity at best .
In terms of possession we dominated, but other than the goal, only Watts chance made the keeper work.
Same as last week we simply let the game drift always allowing the oppo a chance of grabbing something
AFC got a sign out near the end Karl Robinson is lying cunt. He found this funny (we were 1 up). At the end he got caught up in argument with their ground staff, looked like he had to be held back
IF this is so, at least he's showing passion and disappointment at the result
No thanks. We're a club with history and tradition, I expect him to behave himself accordingly and fighting groundsmen is, frankly, embarrassing. This isn't MK Dons.
We were much the better side in the first half but, once again, have paid the price for failing to kill the game off - in this case, against pretty poor opposition, who barely mustered a shot on our goal.
We got stuck in and competed well in the first half and moved the ball much better than Wimbledon. Unfortunately, the second half degenerated and became very scrappy, although Watt had a good curling shot saved, whilst Novak put a good chance into the side netting when he should have done better.
Wimbledon's delivery into the box was poor - both from open play and set-plays - but the fear was always that one goal would not be enough and thus it proved. Their forward won a long, straight punt upfield from the back and Elliot seemed to have the freedom of the penalty area to lash a low shot past Rudd. I'd like to see that one again and try an fathom what happened to our marking.
I'm afraid that this team does not have the ability to see games out and that is, in truth, because we are not good enough. In saying that, this was truly two points cast to the wind against an off-form and pretty poor Wimbledon side.
I thought Aribo played very well. I was not very impressed with Bauer and Chicksen in the second half although, in fairness, the level of most of our players dipped as the game wore on.
I shall be interested to hear what Karl Robinson made of it. An honest and objective assessment of the game would not go amiss.

What we need is someone who can bang in 20+ goals in a season at this level - oh, wait....

OK, just back from beamback. To say we dominated would be an understatement! But the game is all about scoring and when you get a so-called striker in Novak missing two excellent chances - especially the second one - well, the writing is on the wall. To enjoy the amount of possession we had (as is usual) and only score one goal says it all. The ref was poor and how he did not see the handball right at the end just before they scored is a mystery. The standard of most of the teams in this league is awful. Football-wise they can't live with us but to be fair they play to their strengths and today, in the end, it paid off. These continuing draws will ensure we will finish outside the paly-offs I'm afraid.

RD: They won won again, like they won won last week.....Must congratulate Katrien on always improving our ranking....

Edit; Top 6 budget Katrien? Don't think so.
3 wins in 12 is poor, about as poor as Slade. Good job there are at least four teams worse than us.

Which means we'll get two more 1-1 draws
