I think it's way too early to let him go, but I do wonder how different most people's perception of him would be if we didn't win at Bolton. Other than that he's been dreadful.
Like any manager he needs time. The summer window could make a huge difference, the squad could look very different come September.
I'm concerned he only has one way of playing. With RD he's also only one bad run or a fall out away from getting the sack. I don't expect any manager to really get the squad they need under RD either.
Wasn't there, so can only go by the commentary, but not sure tonight is KR's fault. Sounds like the way he set them up restricted Oldham to few chances and allowed us to create quite a few chances, and not just half chances at that. Up to players ultimately to stick it in the net.
We sounded much more likely than we did on Saturday, but we lost the game here and drew at the weekend. That's football sometimes.
I just don't see where changing the manager again is going to help at all, other than the press conferences might get a bit shorter again.
I was going to say, bring on Chris o' Loughlin on the basis that he's got to be the final stage before the revolution, but then I remembered that's what the communists said about Hitler.

Trouble is for the last 3 years it has always been a case of "the next transfer window" but each time we have consistently weekend our squad by selling our better players and brining in poor quality replacements. I just can't see that changing.

Yeh but, no but mate!
The trouble is it's a results business and he aint getting them. IMO he needs to stay for this season and be given the summer, but we know that Roland isn't patient and in any case ultimately I fear it is all an exercise in futility.
Doesn't matter how long we think he should get, it's all about Roland's itchy trigger finger. I'm sure there are plenty of conversations between Roland and the spy in the camp, and much of what Roland does next will depend on what information O'Loughlin is feeding him.
He should at least get the rest of the season, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone before that, particularly if the next few results are poor and we drift further down the table.

It is and it always has been, but you and I are both plenty old enough to remember a time when owners (and dare I say it fans) understood that, to deliver results, it sometimes takes longer than the first dozen games. Some very notable and successful managers have needed seasons before they've really got a team ticking.
A recent example would be Pulis - Baggies fans all wanted him gone in the summer, they're now on course for their highest league finish for 30 years or so.
I am also painfully aware that Roland is not one of those owners that understands the benefits of stability and will hire and fire however he damn well pleases, but that doesn't mean we fans ought to be encouraging him to do it.
Doesn't matter how long we think he should get, it's all about Roland's itchy trigger finger.
And is it me, or can you picture us getting poor results the next few games (maybe one win a draw and two losses), then we go off to Belgium Northampton, lose and then up pops Flaggy........... 'you've spoilt my day' Roland pulls the trigger.....
I really really hope i'm wrong as the last thing we need is another manager but I can see it, I can smell it..........
People calling for his head are as stupid as our esteemed leader. We need stability, we need to give a manager more than one transfer window and a full pre season not just get rid when things go tits up. We were in an average position when he took over and we remain there. Hopefully we can put a run together but, even if we don't, getting someone new in isn't going to make things better and Robinson needs the summer and next season to show us what he is really about.
Although it will undoubtedly happen soon and it could be the straw that may finally breaks this camel's back.....

So, overall, his record is average to say the least. However, our defence hasn't been giving away loads of goals recently (6 in the last 8) and the wins against Bolton and Bristol Rovers suggested that we might just have turned the corner.
However, we do not have an out and out goalscorer and we also lack a smattering of players who are going to share that burden (Magennis and Holmes the only ones in our squad who have scored more than 3 League goals for us). The top Clubs do - Sharp for Sheffield United has 20 goals plus 4 assists, Scunthorpe's Morris has 18 goals plus 9 assists - and no team outside the bottom 7 have scored less. We have no Kermy & BWP or Hunt & Mendonca.
So when we go behind we are always going to struggle to get more than a draw. And when we go in front we lack the killer touch to seal the game.
As much as I am not a fan of "Robinson The Mouth" we've been here too many times before. The Manager's hands are tied and until we rectify the inadequacies in the most important department on the pitch we aren't going anywhere. The likes of Matty Taylor when at Bristol Rovers and James Vaughan now at Bury should have been both affordable and within our reach.
But until Roland uses some of the money he is making on selling our best players we aren't going anywhere. Whoever is the Manager.
Robinson is not the problem that we know, he must given time by the fans and at least a chance to put his stamp on the team in the summer.
It is no good us getting Robisnson out and we start all over again with a new manager with new ideas, we need stability now (apart from owner) and as frustrating as it is we us fans need to help that but not getting on his back now.

We did that at the start of the season to be fair, signing Nicky Ajose and Lee Novak who both scored plenty last term, but the amateur nature in which the club operated got all gooey eyed over the goal stat and failed to sign players to help them replicate their records with us this season, topping it all off by employing a manager (Slade) who never fancied Ajose. Then we go and get Robinson, who sends Ajose back to Swindon. He'll probably be sold for a fraction of what we bought him for in the summer; more wasted money, more incompetence and more failure.
(Magennis and Holmes the only ones in our squad who have scored more than 3 League goals for us)
Ajose has 6 but is out on loan.
Hardly prolofic I know, but actually not a terrible return playing in front of a weak midfield as he had to. Suspect having someone like JFC in the side might have aided Ajose, although of course he would be on the bench as KR is wedded to playing 1 up top.

Which is why I didn't include Ajose - or, for that matter, Lookman who has 5. Two of our top scorers discarded for one reason or another. In fact one reason - to balance Roland's books.

Yup, I can see it happening too. It's not what I want, but if we can't score enough goals, we are going to keep dropping points, and Roland isn't known for his patience.

and so it will continue , as he is a complete ball shitter first class

Other than a spy for Duchatelet what does this fella actually do?

Not keen on Robinson ffs though give him rest of and next season

That was a common trend at MK Dons so whilst the bloke did a decent job they got fed up of him.

So if he loses against Rochdale his record will be worse than slades on goal difference AND goals scored/conceded.

Until the Belgians <<foutou le camp>> we're pretty much foutou'd.
