A manager that goes through phases of form, good and bad. They're going through a bad patch right now, but once they get their next win, expect them to go something silly like 8 unbeaten and winning 5 of them.

They've got a run of games soon where they play Doncaster, Pompey, Ipswich and Hull in the space of 3-4 weeks. If he's still in charge after that then he'll be ok as then they have a run of 8-9 games against bottom half sides through to the end of January so that should be when they go on a run.
as much as I’m not a fan of Robinson I think Oxford would be mad to get rid of him. Thought they played well against us and with better finishing would have won. Also his teams do intend to go through patches. Lose four on the spin then go on a run of winning five. They only need a couple of wins and they will be off and running. Will finish top ten.
Swindon's Richie Wellens looks set to take over at Salford
Yes he has played for them and it's nearer home, but it says something about their financial clout that he would drop down a division
Interesting that he missed the last game through 'a corona episode' and Swindon won their first game after four losses on the spin. I wonder if there will be a job swap, Alexander taking over at Swindon ? .. the 'Scholes experiment' was very short lived

Scholes was down as a caretaker manager, so I don't think it was ever going to be permanent

True but longer term Salford is the better bet, and i'd say the vast majority of managers would choose them over Swindon. Strong chance they could swap divisions in May.
Surely Cocu's time at Derby must be nearly up after tonight
Only the potential takeover is probably keeping him in the job. A temporary stay of execution you imagine!
Just read that Sheikh Mansour's cousin is interested in them. Bit of a comedown though, as it says he first tried to buy Liverpool, then Newcastle, and now he's downgraded to Derby.
They're not happy up at Sunderland, especially with their recent signings.
He treated the Cup in the same way as we did with only three of the team that beat Ipswich starting.
They've lost fewer games than any other team in the League and if they win their game in hand they will be one point off top. There is absolutely no guarantee that anyone they bring in will do any better.
For that reason I can't see him being sacked unless the League form goes the other way.

Manager Ryan Giggs will not be involved in Wales' three matches in November, with assistant Robert Page taking charge of the team.
Giggs has denied an allegation of assault made against him.
The 46-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend, several newspapers have reported.
