Unreal! He stuck with them whilst they were in utter turmoil. The new owners come in and this is their first action.
one of their members of staff has already come out and said he was paying her mortgage for her whilst she wasn’t being paid just so she had a roof over her head.
This has not gone down particularly well with the fans
We all know that your first owner after a nightmare one is often not much of an improvement and this isn't a great sign. But as long as they keep the club alive and can maybe avoid a relegation they'll be remembered positively by most
For quite a long time their fans didn't even think they'd start the season so i'm sure he will be cut some slack. Not a bad first role really, pretty low expectations so limited pressure.
A dubious appointment really, when you're having to build a team from scratch 3 months after everyone else. Morecambe need an experienced lower EFL/NL gaffer, someone who knows the sort of players he'll need to cope at that level, who will attract free agents to sign for them.
Unless Morecambe are generous payers, who would prefer to work for a rookie 30 year old coach rather than Derek Adams?
Yeovil are the first to opt for the chop... Mark Cooper has gone
4 points from 5 games so far. Were also 3 up at home to Gateshead yesterday only to lose 4-3.
Gateshead to Yeovil ! .. ouch .. Gateshead deserve the win for travelling nearly the length of England for the game
Some of their fans (fairly understandably) left early at 3-0 down though, gutting to miss that comeback
Gateshead scored their first goal 3 minutes into the second half. They must have left at halftime to miss the comeback,in which case I have zero sympathy with them. I can understand leaving with 10 minutes left maybe, but halftime.

Ross County are delighted to announce the return of Derek Adams as their new manager

He's only been there a month, good luck to him if they hoof him out. I hope he gets his contract paid up in full.
Currently 12th this season, although unbeaten with 1 win and 3 draws.
