I actually don’t think he’s progressed as a manager for a couple of years now, Bournemouth defensively were terrible, and he’s spent a lot of money on a lot of very very average footballers
Lot of people seem to be writing him off. He's literally had one bad season.
Saved them in league 2, then got them promoted, then made league one play offs. Left. Came back and got them promoted straight away out of league one, two years later won the championship, then kept a club that has a 12k stadium in the premier league for 5 seasons.
He won't be short of offers. He'll be back in the premier league before Bournemouth, of that i have no doubt.

I agree; Eddie Howe is still only 42. He took over when Bournemouth were in danger of losing their place in the League. The master class when they won at the Valley was very impressive. Instead of using Yann as a battering ram, Howe played him as a number 10 and he got the ball on the desk in the build up moves, and Wilson, Pugh, Richie and Arter would do the movement and he found them all the time with pin point passing. He turned Simon Francis and Charlie Daniels into Premier players by playing them as wing backs ( before converting Francis into a CB) The big money signings have disappointed despite coming from Liverpool: Solanke and Jordan Ibe.
The Challenge for Eddie Howe is can he succeed somewhere other than Bournemouth ? Burnley never worked out for him but his record on the south coast is Jimmy Seedesque.
He needs to do something about his transfer dealings, Lermer was £25m, Solanki £19m, Rico £13.5, £12m for Chris Mepham and then this year £16m on Danjuma and £13m on Lloyd Kelly. That's a lot of shit brought for a lot of money, and I suspect Howe made the call on all of them

Yes, his real talent is with the L1 players he turned into PL ones

Not to mention Brad Smith for £6m who ended up on loan in the MLS and Jordon Ibe £19m and has been released.

Be interesting to see who takes over there
Bit relieved he's gone in a way as their job could be just as hard next season as ours
Any longer and clubs will start to forget him
Lucky to get any managerial job really, never mind one on his doorstep (Cheshire, not Australia).
Get the first side he managed back in the Premier League then retire
Here we go......
He might have some time away but really needs to make the next job a good one otherwise look what did happen to Curbs.
Clubs will look and think did it only work because it was Bournemouth?
Could see him going abroad and doing quite well to be honest. Clearly a good coach and his attacking philosophy might suit another country.
Maybe Watford but doubt he'd work for their owners.
Probably end up somewhere like Forest or Norwich if Farke goes
he takes full responsibility for the playing staff and controls their diets what they do where they go etcetera not just the match day situation.
He may actually be better suited to overseas and it wouldn’t surprise me if he maybe went to Germany

He could probably move for the right job.
