Didn't realise Tisdale was leaving?Addick Addict said:83 of the 92 League managers have served for less than 4 years. Once Paul Tisdale leaves Exeter in the summer, only Wenger will have been in charge for more than 5 years.
How many other jobs is someone given such a short time to make their mark?0 -
Tisdale will leave Exeter if he doesnt sign a new Contract so that could still happen

If he doesnt sign then would love him @ the Valley if Bowyer isnt an option0 -

Have always been impressed with him at Exeter but you do wonder if elsewhere he might be a Eddie Howe at Burnley type, less of a good fit.4 -
Wouldnt surprise me if he is like the example you gave - Nor would it surprise me if Exeter drop like a stone suffering from Curbishley syndromeNorth Lower Neil said:

Cobblers boss JImmy Floyd Hasselbaink has parted company with Northampton Town.0
-
Hard to see them getting out of the bottom 4, especially as MKD have been picking up results and Rochdale (2 points below them) have 4 games in hand!1StevieG said:Cobblers boss JImmy Floyd Hasselbaink has parted company with Northampton Town.

It seems that Mick instigated it, or least was happy to leave early1 -

By what I've just seen on Sky I doubt he's going anywhere new. It seem she was given some stick by some sections of the crowd tonight & he's had enough. He said he was a caretaker fro his own job & was in a position he didn't want to be in.1
-
I really cannot understand why Mick gets stick from the Ipswich fans. Every year they compete in a really tough division without spending a penny.
They're definitely going to struggle next season.1 -
Exactly, Ipswich fans need to wake up a bit. He has worked wonders to keep them in mid table this season in a very tough, competitive league.0

It's the similar Arsenal fans with Wenger. He's been there a while now and they'd rather take a chance on someone else.
They'll probably replace him with a manager that wants to play pretty football. In pre-season their fans will talk about how refreshing the new style of play is. Then they'll either have a brilliant season or end up in a relegation battle.3 -
McCarthy is favourite for the WBA job.0
-
Been in management for 27/28 years, and only had 5 jobs which is pretty extraordinaryCovered End said:McCarthy is favourite for the WBA job.

Probably similar to the end of Curbs' reign with us. I've no doubt some of their fans think he's taken them as far as he can and they're crying out for a fresh face with new ideas. But it probably won't end well.E-cafc said:Exactly, Ipswich fans need to wake up a bit. He has worked wonders to keep them in mid table this season in a very tough, competitive league.

A massive comedown for MKD really, they look doomed now and will have a 30k L2 stadium next season
