The result of a summer where we released many more than we brought in, and played the frendlies with a selection of players who now don't feature. It'll be a while befoe we gel.
Forced to attend an afternoon tea event with cream tea and scones etc. At first I was annoyed about the clash. Having read this thread... bring on the triangle sandwiches.
Hopefully Lookman, will come on at some point & inject a bit of creativity into the game. If it stays 0-0 there is always a chance of a Charlton goal. Usually in the game there is at least one good chance of a goal. Defence seems solid but midfield is a bit of a worry. Am ok with Lookman not starting as he is a young player and needs to be played carefully.
It's bloody dreadful. No creativity, no pace, no energy. Foley in central midfield, Jackson out wide and Lookman on the bench. Only positive is Holmes.
