Would it be wrong for vehement protests to begin before the kick off at Welling, and for that match to be disrupted to the point of abandonment?

The Ipswich home friendly would be a better option
  • I have finally found a job where Katrien could add value - This guy really does need an adviser on all things Belgian

In terms of our CEO. She can't take back what she has said or done. Any real change has to follow her leaving. That Duchatelet must know that her continued employment can only be stopping the club from healing, suggests to me that the problems have not been solved, He clearly puts her above the club and it's supporters!
  • It pains me to say this but if Duchebag was going to get rid of Liar Liar he would have done it by now so the protests to get her out have failed. He needs someone he knows and trusts to protect his investment and that is her. He does not know anyone else in football with the necessary experience to be CEO. My guess is she has probably offered to resign but he has said no.
We must support the team next season. Slade is a reasonable appointment and he must be given a chance on the pitch. By all means protest before and after the game, boycott club merchandise and food outlets but while the game is on provide the sort of encouragement to get us out of this crap division.
Some of rhe players said that the toxic atmosphere inside the stadium last year affected the team. This cannot be allowed to happen this season.
Do you really want us to go down again just to fuel the hate against the regime.
I have written enough threads on here to confirm my hatred of Duchebag, Liar ,Liar and Murray but I cannot shake off my support for my team and I want them to be successful on the pitch.
  • I have not seen evidence from players that the toxic atmosphere inside the stadium affected the team adversely.
I would suggest the adverse impact on the team was three managers and throwing a bunch of bewildered strangers together in a haphazard manner.
It wasn't fans who moved Solly inside to get THD sent off, nor fans who paired Johnson and Lennon together, indeed more defensive combinations that I can remember. It wasn't fans who let in goals regularly following corners or just before half times, or managed the game by sending on notes to players...need I go on? Indeed the more lively and toxic the atmosphere last season was the platform for better performances.
When you say give them a chance I agree. They have a chance to win game after game and storm the division, no excuses.
I want it to happen, but right now I have very considerable doubts that it will.
