Jacko still in midfield and Harriot not even on the bench. What has Harriot done this time around to get totally ignored after his terrific performance against Forest?
I hope there's a wider context there or I'll be cancelling my Trust membership.
Surprised at you, thinking that for one moment. It's an article called What has Roland done for us? and takes on all the pro - RD arguments. The one highlighted goes on to say
supporters all over the world do it and there weren’t many Portsmouth supporters complaining when they reached the Cup Final funded by unsustainable losses. What makes Duchatelet’s investment in Charlton so disappointing is that it has been made so wastefully. Chief Finance Officer David Joyes was recently quoted as saying the owner had put in £25m so far. But the instability and lack of experience which are the result of the constant managerial changes at the club means that, despite this money, we have gone backwards. Our league position is no better than it was two years ago, supporters feel alienated and attendances are falling.
I can't believe when I read the team sheet out to my son in Gatwick airport he cheered every player as if I was announcing them into the pitch other than Fox and he booed his name.
He agreed when I asked him that fix could do ok, had only scored one goal ever but generally wasn't good enough.
Vetokele - current injury sustained in training Kashi - ditto Bauer - ditto
Numerous other injuries, Lookman's for example, sustained in the first half of games.
Among the many other questions, we need to know how our fitness and medical budget and resources matchs up to those at our competitors. Third lowest in the league I imagine, like the playing budget. The trouble is that there was a twisted rationale to a low playing budget. Are we also using medical school trainees to run our fitness and medical side?
Cant remember a season in recent memory where we've had this many injuries. I know you cant account for on the field actions always but really seems like the medical team are completely ineffective in any prevention and rehabilitation. (Not a medical expert)
This situation isn't helped by some of the players we've signed having a history of injuries, some having a history of not playing so have never had to play a number of games in a season, some having temperamental issues and possibly feigning injury and some being of an age where it is difficult for them to shake off injuries.
They all have some sort of baggage. And that's why they are cheap.
The trouble with our injuries, it seems to be the better players: Bauer, Diarra, Vetokele, Kashi, Henderson, Lookman. If it was some of the fringe players we would not be in this position. I still say that if this squad wanted to, they could beat a lot of teams in this league, but like last week, they seem not to be interested.
Can imagine the piece is probably refuting the statement. It's not in the programme, it's in the trust mag.
Yes, it is exactly that. People really should try reading things before over-reacting! I'm almost as depressed by some of the numpties coming to the fore in our fan base today as I was by the Dear Leaders comments yesterday...

He's 5.

Maybe he has fallen out with his team mates, worn red to training sessions and had a run in with Vincent.
Feckin joke. Even Jacko would admit he needs some time on the bench - he would be the better for it.
Wait…
Oops!
Anyway, COYA!
