Gudmundsson still has a three year contract left at the end of the season... Would want at least £2m for him to be released from that Contract alone (Thats even before his potential performances at Euro 2016).
Lookman on the other hand is raw talent, has already scored three in three and the England scouts are already aware and trying to keep an eye on him (as they were there against Burnley), that straight away boosts his value for me, if he was an England International (at any age group) I'd want a couple of million more for him
New striker , mid , left winger, right back and maybe another centre half That's what I understand .....
When you say new, do you mean Yann / Tucudean / Piggott, ?, Harriott, Wilson and Doyley?
I'd totally forgotten about Doyley, that was all a bit weird. I know he isn't a world-beater but I'd assume on his day he'd look comfortably better than our present lot, do you think he baulked at the Roland-YTS wages offer?
Unsure JBG will be leaving. He'll be at a new club, try and recapture his club form to make an impact risking injury for the Euros. Whereas he probably knows he has made the International squad and is just running about the field like Pawel Abbott at the moment.
If we get 9m for those three. I'd take it. They'll be undisclosed so we will never know.
"We" wouldn't get the £9m though would we. It'd disappear off into the ether as we get two stellar signings of Djimi Traore and Neil Shipperley (they've still got it). Also, if KM and RD think KF is a good manager, I imagine they'll think £100k for each of them will also be a good deal.
Can't reveal my source, but heard a whisper that we're looking to loan in a new fridge freezer for the training ground and bringing in a futon mattress and some bedside tables from DFS with the sofa moving in the other direction - loan initially but undisclosed fee agreed for a permanent deal in the summer.
Given our on and off-field problems, our chronic instability and our exceptionally poor reputation in the football world, it's very difficult to see any seasoned Championship level player ever being prepared to join us, even if Duchatelet was prepared to pay the going rate (which, of course, he won't). The absence of a proper manager only serves to compound matters (thankfully, I can't see that idiot Fraeye lasting much longer, although I have no confidence about the calibre of his replacement, interim or otherwise).
In terms of players on the way out, Tony Watt is as good as gone, whilst I don't think Duchatelet will be able to resist a seven figure bid for Lookman. That will be followed, no doubt, by a pious statement on the OS from Meire that "we couldn't stand in the young man's way....it was the chance of a lifetime..etc, etc." If Ademola is still our player on 1 February, it will only be because we haven't received a decent bid for him.
There are two types of relegation in football - one where it goes to the wire and the other where a team is dead in the water by January. If results continue to deteriorate and we're cut adrift towards the end of next month, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Duchatelet trying to move on one or two more saleable assets, like JBG. His rationale will be that a higher price is likely to be achieved in the January window than in the summer after our relegation is confirmed, when we have to cut the budget by 50%.
Presumably Dervite left for a better contract . Someone rumoured that he was coming back but surely his wage demands might be prohibitive. I can see that Bolton would want to get him off their wage bill in view of their problems .
Hmm. So he's not been paid for 2 months at Bolton, by the end of December.
I'm not sure his demands would be too prohibitive.
Comments
Lookman £1m plus add on and a loan back
Watt 500k plus sell on clause
JBG 1.5m plus sell on clause
Not much really. Could be wrong.
Watt... £1m
Gudmundsson... £3m
They'll be undisclosed so we will never know.

*or any other championship club that isn't us
100% gone in the summer though haha.
Good old Bookman!

2 Strikers - Tucudean and Parzyszek
(Piotr - Since leaving on loan)
2014–2015 → Sint-Truiden (loan) 31 (11)
2015– → Randers (loan) 7 (1)
(George - Since leaving on loan)
2015 → Steaua București (loan) 17 (3)
A winger - Callum Harriott
(Since loaned out)
2015– → Colchester United (loan) 18 (5)
Sorted.

Because no-one else gets fecking near it at the club!
