You're very kind CHG. Glad you came out ahead but no winner since 2010 is looking a bit like I may be a tad past it like dear old Oscar Time.CHG said:Peanuts making a profit again, well done son, you ledge!!

Ended up a little up because of the Dude. Cheers PM, great thread as every year.
cabbles said:Cheers peanuts. I would've been up by £3.75 but for chucking a fiver on Balleycasey for my mrs. Without your insight I wouldn't have got my stake back, plus my double on Thurs so I'm still up £100 quid on aintree. Many thanks
Cheers Chaps.Clem_Snide said:Got 3rd. Tidy each way return. Cheers Peanuts.

Money back for me, thanks to the Dude (and Peanuts!)1

Not so sad. Doubled my money and resisted betting on half the field. Just stick to the Red and White ones eh?Stone said:
Nice one, that's where my bullseye will be going. Maybe £30 on The Druids and £10 ew on The Dude.PeanutsMolloy said:
DOUBLE ROSS (not sure he'll line up), THE DRUIDS NEPHEW and MONBEG DUDE are the only 3 in just red and white (barring a colour change)...............could do very well with a couple of thoseStone said:What Horses Jockey's are wearing Red & White?

About evens I think. Your insight makes it so much more enjoyable Peanuts. Druids was going so well when he fell.1

Bombed completely for the 2nd year running.
9 bets placed, zero return. Add that to last Saturday 's trip to the dogs (24 bets placed, zero return) and my PP account now showing 14 successive losing bets, tells me maybe this isnt my game!
Once again, thanks for the contribution Peanuts, so many of us get so much pleasure from your annual adventure. I hope you too enjoy it as well, and that 10% book profit is still enough to see Mrs Peanuts onto her cruise (you might have to wave her off though)

Must admit Peanuts - your analysis is spot on - if only they didnt have fences ! - so many of you choices well placed to win it but fell in the last 5/6 fences.2

The Ruckers must love him with those seven placed efforts. For me, he has finished in those Nationals 3rd loser, 3rd loser, 1st loser, 3rd loser, 3rd loser, 2nd loser and 3rd loser.PeanutsMolloy said:
Which one is it again AA?Addick Addict said:Paul Moloney 4th again. Now that's a surprise!
That makes him a big loser in my book because I would sacrifice all those place efforts to win just the once.
Hurts just as much to see Burton Port's colours carried to victory!
Well done anyway as usual PM. Gave us all a run for our money.1 -
65 profit for me thanks Peanuts! Appreciate it! Also won 120 on Saints, Norwich, Watford, Plymouth and Wycombe so a good days gambling here.2
-
No luck for me but I have high hopes of Arsenal beating Burnley, which will put me about £50 up on the day.0
-
Brilliant race and a fantastic result. The likes of Oliver Sherwood and Leighton Aspell are the heartbeat of jump racing and it's great to see them have their day in the sun. (again!)2

Thanks Peanuts. One of my most anticipated threads of the year.1

Thanks Peanuts. Great fun as always.
I backed all of Peanuts' selections. Ended up doing 11 seperate bets.
I saved myself by doing Monbeg Dude again at 66/1 just before the off, having backed him a week ago at 33/1.
I bet £170 and won £180, so a £10 profit to add to £16 for Thursday/Friday.
Monbeg 3rd
Chance Du Roy 10th
Oscar Time 15th
First Lieutenant 16th
Dolatulo 19th of 19 finishers.

Second year on the trot I've bombed too. Thankfully I reigned it in after last year.
Thanks Peanuts wish I had the money to have fluttered more! But very interesting.

thanks Peanuts for another interesting analysis .. a class horse won this year .. Hennessy winner and a gold cup candidate, all be it a flop in that one .. I had an e/w fourth .. could be a Hemmings double very soon ..his club Preston N E look like being runners up in the 1st Division .. a really nice, and VERY rich man is Trevor ((:>)1

Peanuts I checked the BBC Sport site they have 13 experts each tipping five horses. Two tipped Alvarado and one tipped St Are, you did better than them all put together so don't be so modest.1
-
Peanuts... Did anything catch your eye as a possible for next year?0

First time ive picked the winner since hedgehunter in 2005! Had £5E/W, took it at 33's last night, a much needed £215!!! Buzzing1
