Best of luck to Simon. It restores ones faith in the beautiful game when big clubs can loan a player who can't quite make their matchday squads to small local clubs.
I think Simon Church is a decent player and does not deserve the abuse he has received on Charlton Life. The problem has never been with our forwards, but a lack of creativity in midfield. The delivery to our forwards has been very poor over the last few seasons, and until we sort the midfield out it will continue to be a problem. Don't expect Tony Watt to get a hatfull of goals because our midfield always struggles against other championship midfields. Notice our difficulties against Birmingham and Blackpool this season. It wasn't our forwards fault, we lost the midfield, therefore the control of the game. We never seem to get enough players in the box, because our midfield plays too deep and does not bust a gut to get up to support the forwards or run beyond them.
He should score loads down the road then what with Hazard, Silva, Di Maria and Sanchez as a supply line.
Best of luck to Simon. It restores ones faith in the beautiful game when big clubs can loan a player who can't quite make their matchday squads to small local clubs.
good luck to him (not the club he joins) top man and when I met him he took the piss out of himself , so he knows he has limited ability But he gives his all #moveon
So I've had about 16 hours to come to terms with you b'stards tucking us up and have come to the conclusion that some sort of divine intervention must be happening at our place.
I believe our illustrious leader has seen a light (not THE light) and decided that having Church and Easter up front may change our goalscoring fortunes.
I also firmly believe that the next batch of signings for us will include the following:
Jesus Navas Victor Moses Islam Feruz Eddie Pope Jorge Resurrección (Koke)

It's not the fans fault that he's shit
Living the dream.......
Not church's fault but he is just out of he's depth at championship level.
However if they're any Millwall fans reading this then he is brilliant and please don't bid to much for him 10 million would be a snatch for you lot.
Thinking of you Spongefoot...
But he gives his all
