I didn't think Rommedahl was that bad. There were issues. Running so fast he arrived at the goal line before he remembered to pass the ball was one, I seem to remember...3

Apparently this fellas strength is his crossing......given some of those goals he must cross like a Jedi
Sounds like the kind of guy Yann would thrive with
Same as Vetokele would be ideal with someone intelligent who can pick out his run0 -
Not that strong in the tackle, I remember. Very quick though.Wheresmeticket? said:I didn't think Rommedahl was that bad. There were issues. Running so fast he arrived at the goal line before he remembered to pass the ball was one, I seem to remember...

Curbs has to take a lot of the blame for that one, playing him in a disciplined role on the right of midfield instead of the roaming role he did so well for Denmark. Not really sure why we bought him to be honest.vff said:

Why buy a player at the top of his game for his country in the Euros, and then try to make him play in an unfamiliar role?
Curbs got that massively wrong.0 -
You remember him making a tackle? Great memory!vff said:

Just wondering, is this guy's song going to be "Johnny B Goode"?
I can't help thinking his name is just too convenient for it not to be...2 -
I think we can forgive Rommedahl after his last kick goal against Palace.0

He is quite possibly the most exciting signing I have seen at Charlton. He's brilliant at switching the play, as we have seen, Even his ball against Brentford which Tucudean should have scored from, and yesterday he switched the play well at least 4 times.
This guy has bags of quality. You can just see it Whenever he receives the ball.
Looking forward to watching him a lot more this season. Exciting stuff

Honestly think him and Moussa could be the answer to the creative block in midfield, both have been wingers in the past but both seem to be perfectly capable of playing through the middle. JBG loves a shot and will create goals just like Church's through them1

He didn't do enough yesterday to stop the women behind me yesterday complaining all through the game, apparently he's not as good as Harriot.9
-
he was brilliant yesterday, pinging balls across the pitch. Only aspect of his game that let him down a bit was his finishing but that will come.

Personally, I wouldn't quite go as far as saying he was brilliant yesterday, but I really feel that, once he gets used to the pace of English football he will be.............1
-
Let's not get too excited - but he is a bit of an upgrade on Danny Green.1
-
He's looking a good player, his overall game is good. I haven't seen him put in a good cross yet though.1

No he's not put in a good cross yet but he's pinged some pin-point through balls in to Tucudean and Vetokele instead and that's good enough for me so far, Premier League quality.0

Yeah that ball he layed in against Brentford for Tucudean was Sublime.MartinhoCAFC said:No he's not put in a good cross yet but he's pinged some pin-point through balls in to Tucudean and Vetokele instead and that's good enough for me so far, Premier League quality.

Johann had a couple of friends down from Iceland for this game, what a great day for him as well as Watt (whom have got on like a house on fire, btw). We have a little crowd in Iceland who are looking out for our results to see if Johann has scored, these days15

Have to tie him down to a longer contract.8

If he could use his right foot at all, he'd be a premier league player. Not a huge criticism; I think he's fantastic for us1

Anyone noticed that his son will be Johansson?2
