i'm not gonna get into a slanging match with you Yann....I pointed out that the team you called "mid table" has been/is being dismantled. I don't think that team is really good enough to be honest although I would keep/re-sign Hamer and Sordell if possible.
I then said "Poyet saved us from relegation, Morro is our most consistent CB.... I cannot for the life of me be positive about us losing them"
that's two players my man not the whole team
I was trying to be nice to you at the end even though you can be a little infuriating at times. Have an argument with someone else, I really don't care enough!
Its a football forum where we obviously have different opinions hardly a slanging match is it ? Lol
For Royton Vasey from the other site. (There is a thread on the other site on this one).
'I am yet to enjoy Roland Duchatelet ownership at Charlton'.
It was not that 'I am yet to enjoy anything about the Roland Duchatelet ownership at Charlton' as per your quote.
Its quite different. Then again then it does not fit in with the rest of your post. The misrepresenation is not helpful.
FYI
I am happy with Riga and thought that he brought in better passing football. I thought that Roland should have brought in a manager in Jan 14 it was my opinion that RD & CP was not going to work out. I have said that off pitch developments are welcome (pitch / academy) but not impressed by transfer / contract dealings. The Watford game was very enjoyable. I am glad that relegation was avoided. I am waiting positive head coach / player developments and will be happy when and if they happen.
The Duchatelista phrase is a bit crass but so is the misrepresentation, insults and individual dogs abuse that I have seen handed out to those that question Roland's strategy (given to CP, or supported CP previously). It does appear that some who were happy about CP going have translated that into a pro RD thing. Then characterise the debate around RD in that context. For many posters now that is not the case. All that is history now. Developments should be judged on what is going on now and the current strength of the team.
I take a look at ITTV. I enjoy the rumours / inside information on the ITTV site as they are generally positive about future club developments and promise of something better cheers me up; even though they are sometimes wide of the mark.
I don't like the personal abuse / stereotyping / misrepresentation on ITTV that happens. Many on ITTV read or post on CL (there are frequent references on ITTV about CL). I don't really see the need to duplicate what I say on CL. M Fair play to Sadie Jane, Scabby Horse and Dick Plumb for cross posting on the different forums. Maybe I should get over my laziness and inertia.
Muttley post about respecting opinions is spot on. Glass Half Full posted yesterday 'What's important is that although we don't all see eye-to-eye on everything basically we all want success for our club'. The sentiment is good.
We are talking football forums, so to be expected to some degree. It would be good if the debate between posters and forums allowed difference of opinion, avoiding being vindictive and less partizan.

This debate is what I imagine talking football with Nigel Farage on LBC Sport would be like.
