West Ham lining up a move for Alex Song................ that'll help Diego Poyet get into the first team.
Along with Liverpool. Spurs, Man Utd and Galatasaray West Ham aint getting him
Oooops that's the highlight of this thread
will say it again as you clearly did not see Sorry forgot you cant have an opinion, as I said at one point Spurs were massively odds on, at one point Liverpool were massively odds on for Remy and look where he is now Arsenal or Chelsea This transfer Window has been hard to call and Obviously Liverpool. Spurs, Man Utd decided against him as no one would choose West Ham over them
That was definitely a statement Pauline.
You said West Ham aint getting him. That is a statement.
Learn to admit when you're wrong, like me I am nearly always wrong... Just look at the predictions thread!
if someone has a go at me for making a simple mistake which bookies and professionals have made then I am within my rights to have a go back anyone would of done the same in my position and if you say you would not of done you are either a liar or someone who cant stand up for themselves
It's such a shame, because I genuinely believe with Hamer,Diego and Yann in this current squad not only we would we have a decent play off team, I'd fancy us to have a real good go at winning it.
Joining West Ham... Under Sam Allardyce... There's not much learning to be done there - so you would have at least thought he'd been guaranteed game time.
Doubt Diego will go out on loan, reckon he is in the unenviable position of being close enough to the first team they will keep him as cover and just far enough away he won't play. Enjoy your learning curve in the U21's.
Interesting that Assou Ekoto at Spurs hates football and has finally managed to get himself in a position where he can collect his wages without playing! Perfect for him.

Maybe not for much longer, not included in there 25 man squad
I don't want him anywhere near the club. He made his decision. Not a chance it'll happen. Can you honestly see Roland having him back here?
In a word yes! We are going into the loan window still needing to get talent and depth into the front six positions. Unlike the Kermorgant saga I didn't see a whole load of statements being made. As Poyet not in the 25 man squad he is surely going to want to play somewhere...why not us?

Because Charlton have Buyens and Cousins and if we need another midfielder it needs someone who can play further forward ?

Reading between the lines of Katrien's statement at the time I would say there's no chance of him coming back here. We don't need him and why should we aid his development ahead of one of our own?

Why does he have to be in their 25 man squad when players under the age of 21 are non exempt.
All I'm saying is that we need quality and cover for the front six. We know we're vulnerable if Vetokele or Henderson get injured...we don't know which premier league clubs will deal with us? Whether it's Poyet or others it will always be another clubs player at this stage. I get the thing about developing our players but if loan players can help us stay in the top six then that works...thing is they need to be good and fit in which brings us back to Poyet.

I get what you're saying and I've no problem with loanees. Poyet however, could have stayed with us, in the first team and continued to improve as a player. He chose not to do that and if he's not getting game time as a result of then that's his problem, not ours.
Poyet doesn't need to be in the 25 so he can still play if there is an opportunity, unfortunately for him that is the issue. Wet spam signed a glut of midfielders before the window closed and the majority of them are expected to be ahead of him in the pecking order.
There seems to be a feeling that Poyet is not as developed as they believed and he is not ready to play in the premiership. I would expect a championship struggler to pick him up on loan as the more successful teams will not want to unbalance their squad with a short term signing who may have the "has to play" clause in his deal.

I wouldn't mind Elliot Lee on loan. He had a great pre-season.

No one had a go, NLA just highlighted your error?
I was thinking a big club in yorkshire so not Wednesday.
Maybe somewhere with an ex-Charlton player as boss like Leeds
In all seriousness he would certainly improve the side but would mean a bench for Jackson.
You are a wally, Diego.
