I for one would love him back, as much as we all love him Jacko is deadwood in the middle now, does nothing all game and wouldn't play if he wasn't captain, and I think Poyet and Buyens would have great link up, with Buyens being good at taking it forward and Poyet being a very consistent passer.
I wonder what the odds are that we get him back on loan, then sign him permanently if we got promoted.Could this be brokered into a loan agreement. Maybe West Ham don't like him enough now they've had a close look at him!

But then you are losing Cousins and messing his development up, when Bulot is playing I think he will be LM, Gudmundsson RM, and Buyens and Cousins CM

He did decide to take his chances in the Prem and leave us, however, I would have him back as he is a good player and demonstrated that he had what it takes to perform in the Championship in arguably a weaker team than we have now. If he does go out on loan though, I cannot see it being with us, more likely another club in our division.
I'd rather give any one of our players, that are contracted to Charlton a chance over him. It won't happen, I can't see Roland or Katrien willing to take him back.
Mixed feelings, obviously a great player so would be pleased him back in the team but do we really want to train up a future West Ham academy product ;-) over players like Cousins?
I should be grown up and say that it would be good to have a player of his quality in the team but he chose to move on for a 'new challenge' as he had achieved so much in 20 professional games. Rightly or wrongly he basically thought he was too good for us and his whole 'truth will out' episode left a bitter taste for me. As others have said we shouldn't hamper the development of someone like Cousins, who should be played in his natural position (sorry Jacko), by bringing someone like Diego. Central mid isn't an area we are struggling in. He chose to go to Wet Spam and no doubt the financial rewards help justify his decision but if he cant get in their side then that was his choice. It might be a bit of a reality check for his ego if he is back playing Championship footy in the next few weeks.
Probably going to be a great player and would definitely enhance our team....... But it's still a no from me and it has to be a no from RD if the supposed "give youth a chance, bring in players for long term benefit and to add to their value, move players around the system for everyones benefit" is to be believed.
He can fudge riggggggght off I don't rate cousins either but one of then dedicated himself to the club when he probably could have gone while t'other fudged off.

That would be nice. Wishful thinking.

I certainly don't want to see him in a Charlton shirt again. He made his choice, now he can live with consequences.
That'll teach him...
Would I want him back to help CAFC get closer to the top of the league - Yes
And if it were true, no, wouldn't be keen at all.
