Seeing Gomez play tonight makes me think what a shame that Poyet didn't stay another year. Two outstanding youngsters pushing us up the table. Shame.
We STILL have two outstanding youngsters to push us up the table, Valley11
Joe and young Jordan.
It does the latter a disservice to ignore both the significant contribution he made last season & the great prospect that he is for the future...at OUR Club.

Not to mention Pope, Fox, Lennon, Harriott and Pigott.
Saw his twitter post from a couple of days ago "Not ignoring everyone, crazy but exciting last few days. All will be revealed in time. Thanks for the messages #COYI". Come on you Irons???? C#NT!
First it's Yann, then it's Stewart and now it's Diego.
What the hell is going on? The Club has got to start protecting themselves from the vultures and the only way to do that is by getting our better players to sign long term contracts. And to stand up to these predators.
So, all you spies from PL Clubs reading this, this is the message:
You will not, for any money and I mean any money, get our last three " Jewels In The Crown" - Loic Nego, Piotr Parzysszek and Simon Church, of course.
Any idea on compensation yet if he's joined them now?
I'd assume that the compensation, if agreed between the clubs and not by tribunal, will be "undisclosed" - or "none of your business" as it is more accurately put.

Exactly what I was thinking Rick.
It will be the subject of pure specualtion and rumour much like the Jenkinson fee.
When I put Battle for The Valley back together I was reminded of the internal issue raised when Chris Parkes gave me the Gordon Watson fee breakdown for the Mercury in 1991 - despite the fact that it was being published in Sheffield and Gordon himself was open about it, while Lennie was talking off the record about his own disquiet at the deal and was my major source on the story. Never liked undisclosed fees, but they are often presented in misleading ways when they are disclosed, I.e. "deal worth" or "up to".

And a 72 page thread on the subject will inevitably follow......
