  • To who? RD won't be there. He never is.
  • Singing "Chrissy Powells Red Army", "Chrissy Powell, Chrissy Powell, Chrissy Powell" etc during the game should make the point without being abusive or offensive.
  • Thought this was another bloody Sheffield thread.................

Prior to kick off and at half time every fan should stand up and silently turn their backs on the pitch (i.e. so the players dont get any grief from us whilst its a kind of way to say we dont like what is happening on it)

And has to be done silently... Making noise wouldnt work as silence speaks louder than words

    What a bloody stupid idea.
  • I've got my 'Please Can We Start Trying To Pass The Ball' placard ready.
  • To who? RD won't be there. He never is.

    He is apparently.

Why is it a stupid idea??

  • Just to add too unbelievable! Get behind the team and start supporting Charlton.

I'd be amazed if he showed his face tomorrow.

    If you're a Standard man it's a bloody stupid idea, if you're a Charlton man it's not.
  • He didnt say during the game or at the players. Whats wrong with before the game lr after it?
  • Pathetic, why not get behind the team and new manager, no one man is bigger than a club.
  • He's been through the exact same process before and came up smelling of roses, right? Sacking, protests, top of the league etc.

Even if we are right to demand Powell not be sacked in the long term, in the short RD has the courage of his convictions. Protests won't matter whatsoever. Probably harden his resolve.

Just like any other game at The Valley then.
Ha! you confident for Saturday Sparrows?
  • Can't we give it a few games first? You never know, we might improve if we actually support them with the new approach.

If it turns out he's just a yes man and we look even worse, then protest.

This is my point I AM NOT saying at the players
I would not want anything at the players
I am someone who even when we lose claps the players off(although I do get weird looks in the upper north)
  • No interest at all.

Support the club not the manager.

If you think screaming and shouting behind the West Stand will influence RD's thinking you are deluded.

If we are going to have any chance of staying up fans need to unite behind the team. The manager needs to earn our trust/respect, but I for one don't blame him for the situation and anyone giving him pelters is a clown.

I agree totally with this .. Save your energy for more constructive things .. like watching, applauding & cheering
  • I bet YTU and Nego are both starting on Wednesday,
  • What exactly would we be protesting against? The board? If so, are you saying you want them out?
  • I bet YTU and Nego are both starting on Wednesday,

If we win the game he can play Mr Blobby for all I care.
  • Turning around in the lower west at half time will mean facing the directors box: but nobody will be there to see the protest. Not a good idea...Support the team!
