  • Reminds me a bit of Yaya Toure, classy, a big unit but lacking a bit of mobility at the moment
  • Couldn't be further away from being anything like yaya toure...

This guy is exactly what we've been missing for about 3 years now. A ball playing centre attacking midfielder

  • The one thing for certain is that he's never going to get up and down the pitch. But we have enough young players with "legs" to compensate for that and for the fact he does bring some class to the side he should be one of the first on the team sheet.
  • Class ball for the goal today.
  • The thing that summed him up was when he came on first touch was a class back heel flick down the wing to a striker who played it to jackson who ended up getting a throw in deep in their half and relieved all the pressure from the team. Quality player

A ball playing centre attacking midfielder sounds exactly like Yaya Toure!
  • Really ? Always thought of toure as a box to box player with a massive engine.... Weird how people view things differently

    This.
  • Its like we've signed the Swedish Andy Reid... but taller.

Toure is more box to box, but is also a big unit and not fast, but hard to knock off the ball when he gets going. Ajdarevic made one run when he came on in which he also was very hard to stop, due to his physical strength

To think Danny Green stole 60 plus minutes from this guy today.

So hopefully we'll get to see him for 90mins vs Sheffield Wednesday on Monday

  • He is only on loan though!
  • Did anyone see him with Morrison at the end of the game... Both had an arm round each other and were practically skipping off the pitch after acknowledging the North Stand

He seems to really like it here and after only a couple of weeks the win seemed to mean the world to him - Could he sneak into the Top.3 for POTY?
  • Also took his shirt off at the end of the game and gave it to a fan in a wheelchair , top fella.

    Steady on.

All fun aside I hope these players have their eye on the ball and have the fortitude to get us out of this predicament

What a dickish comment. Player seems to be quite charismatic he must not have his eye on the ball or fortitude to be a winner?!?!
  • Would love to get AA in on a permanent deal. Anyone know if that's a possibility or it is only intended to be a short term fix?

If we do we are likely to have to fork out 1 million plus for him.
  • I've been on holiday for a few weeks so today was the first time I've seen AA---he totally changed the game when he came on. Once he's fully fit he's a class above anything I've seen at the Valley for some years. At last someone to get really excited about--having said that, he was struggling with fitness after only 30 minutes so I expect it'll take him a few weeks to get the pace of the Championship.

Worth that. And it's just Roland moving money between clubs.
  • Lets hope SL already have a great creative midfielder so Roland makes a gift of him to us in the summer.

Any pictures for the ladies? ;-)

Also just seen Pochettino on MotD - were they separated at birth?

  • Sorry Weegie, alas not, I think he was wearing one of those "Wayne Rooney" tops underneath, ( I'm sure they have a proper name).
  • That's a shame...

I've heard we'll have to break transfer records for his signature. RD has put a price tag of £95m on his head. RD is going to have to dig deep to find those sorts of funds.
  • He'll start at Weds I would think

I think you'll find RD put a clause in his contract saying he can be sold to Charlton for 95p.....................
