  • He's not a show pony, that would imply that there's no end product which isn't true, he creates chances which is something we're desperately in need of.

Fitness does seem to be an issue but I'd love us to hang on to him and see if that can be resolved with a pre-season behind him.
  • Im another who is desperate for Roland to sort out a deal with himself to sell us Astrit in the summer.

Quality player and if long term we are changing to a passing creative team then we need players like him.
  • He's the best bet we have in terms of creating chances. By a mile. But he's not amazing - drifts in and out of games IMO.
  • Don't care if he is a show pony he is ours and a good one
  • Has the ability to be one of the best creative players in this division. By far the best signing we have made from the Network, huh.
  • He looked exhausted in the warm up at Brighton.

There was a clear plan for him to be a target man from goal kicks, he didn't win the first 3/4 and then didn't want the ball.

Rate him as a player but fitness clearly an issue.

As a side note the team were doing a warm up routine on Sat where the ball was passed back to them then they took a shot against Thuram, Ajdaravic missed all his, Sordell scored about 50%, Church scored every one.

January is always a difficult time for players to adapt to a new League in the best of scenarios let alone Ajdarevic and Reza coming into a relegation fight.

Give them both a full pre-season with us and they could both be players to watch across the whole of the Championship next season - If either are struggling come Jan next year then I reckon there could be Questions about them but three months in...?

Anyone who starts a job in the real world has to be given three months to get used to their surroundings why should it be any different for a Footballer
  • Because he has played in England before, Reza hasn't.
  • Because he has played in England before, Reza hasn't.

Djibril Cisse played for Liverpool and left England twice (before coming back to Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers)... He wasnt great for Liverpool so not the best example but was even worse on his return (and you could say Sunderland and QPR are not the greatest of sides but at the end of the day... neither are Charlton)

I was only joking! I'm sure he's fit as a fiddle

  • maybe he's got aids or something

Surly this is something not to joke(?) about, and could be quite insulting to him
  • maybe he's got aids or something

Offline my humour can be somewhat un-PC but I really don't see any humour at all in this comment, nor where it's come from.
  • Astrit and Reza need to be on the pitch as much as possible in the last 5 games. They are the only two who look like they can score! Even if they don't at least they shoot!
