I think your member pic says it all... The crowd were silent 90% want a change , it was strange today no normal songs with CP involved. Typical remark from another trainspotter.

I am born and breed charlton fron calvert road Greenwich, 40 years supporting Charlton some of my best friends are shit championship managers, dont start that shit on me.
would someone tell me if the attacking exercise in the PP Reza video was actually put into practice with crosses coming in, or did it not happen because we played 4 cm's?
yes i found that video positive but it just didnt happen anough today
And who's fault is that? He picks a narrow side just after the fans see the new strikers scoring from crosses in a training video - Not smart. We are continually beaten by sides who don't have to work very hard for the 3 points they take from us.
And who should the crosses come from? Danny Green? Maybe if we get some wide men in during the loan window we may see some different football
I'm hoping the Liverpool loan rumour might be true.
I have had enough you get reports in the programme about so called charlton supporters moaning about the behavior of charlton fans away, I have had enough of the cheese and pickle blanket brigade . This site is a joke if you dont believe in CP your a racist, what a joke call the old bill most away games i have been to thats what it is like.
Reza's yellow for simulation should have been a penalty to us.
I haven't seen a replay, but I had a good view and I completely disagree. Looked an appalling dive.
When the ref blew I didn't even consider for a second that it would be for anything but a yellow for diving. He just fell over and it was the third or fourth time. Shame because he looks a good player.

New players still no goals. It was nice to see us trying (and at times very well) to play football, but there is no time left for that shit without any end product - goals/points now or we are going to hell in a hand cart The cross (free kick)for their first goal was a peach and just said "score me" We knew Marcheda was a free agent why didn't we go for him (just saying) The logic of playing a natural left back at left back is incontestable - who was to know he would make the rookie out of position centre back look undroppable ( was so looking forward to seeing Harry play) If that was the first game of the season I could be optimistic that things could change for us when the new players and youngsters gel, but there is no time left to wait for that and it is irrelevant without a goalscorer Poyet was a revelation for a rookie - looked like he had been playing for a couple of years rather than plucked from the kids (guess he will be off to Sunderland soon then) Thought the newbies gave a good account of themselves generally, without being convinced they have enough about them to change our season around, but I am being harsh on one viewing. Peter Parsley should have been first sub on for Sordell to see if he could have made a difference - we already know what Church can do i.e huff, puff, run around, try his heart out, and utterly fail as a striker. Goalie was fine apart from woeful kicking - was expecting a calamity after reports of last week. Thought we came out for the second half with real purpose and passed and probed for about 20 mins without a breakthrough - turned to my nephew and said, what do you reckon 10/15 mins more of this before the sucker punch? We are so predictable sometimes. Agree with others that Jackson isn't worth his place on current form Agree that Sordell and Charlton is not a good fit We need a decent winger NOW Most importantly we need a goalscorer - if you can conjure one out of the strikers available Chris you'll keep your job, but it has to happen now if we are to stay in this league
A lot of yesterday's picks were enforced - Chrissy needs some proper backing and 3 decent players in as Evina's performance showed we can't go a month without a left back so that position needs adding to a creative midfielder and penetrative wide man ! Took too long to go 3 up front yesterday - against a team that were ripe and ready to be pushed back, and that will always be the issue I have with the manager I think!

Does anybody understand what this means?
I'm at a loss too, I've heard of 'pigs in blankets' but 'cheese and pickle blanket' ??? Doesn't sound that appetising and gave up after that :-0
As I have already said love CP but we need a change, he has run out of ideas Green in last 10 mins does not work time and time again seen the same but he does not learn. Thanks CP but I hope RD makes the decision that all you sentimental fools do not want. We need to win games
Bit unfair, none of our wingers are Championship standard. Who else can he bring on that might score or create a goal?
The only chance we have of avoiding relegation is to get rid of Powell. 5 wins and 23 goals in 28 league matches says it all. We probably need something like 7 or 8 wins out of the remaining 18 matches. With Powell as manager I cannot see where the next win or indeed the next goal is coming from. Something needs to change, and change fast.
I am puzzled by people stating that Powell has to take responsibility for this, that and the other, because one thing he's never done is blame anyone else - even though he's been employed in a circus for the last 18 months.
The fact that Danny Green is even on the bench is a pretty good indicator of the problems he has, because the bloke's a liability as was once shown once again when he surrendered possession for the second goal. And what was that free-kick about?
There were some encouraging things on the pitch this afternoon, including Poyet and Ajdarevic but there's no evidence either way to suggest things would have been different if Parzyszek had started. It's just an assumption by people who haven't had the benefit of watching him in training over the last week. I hope he turns out to be useful, but I also remember the people on here insisting that Pigott should play at the start of the season. By the same token we will be very lucky to get 20 games out of Poyet between now and May and it's probably not in his interest that we do.
Like most people I don't always agree with Chris's team selection or substitutions, but I do recognise that he has an exceptional ability to motivate the players and get them to put in the effort, because they want to play for him, although that may be undermined if the established players feel they are being replaced by others not chosen by him.
Quite simply the squad is still not good enough, because it has been depleted as well as increased. We need to bring in two or three exceptional loan signings who speak English and are used to the pace and physicality of English football and I don't believe changing the manager at this stage as well as so many of the players would be a sensible move, even if there was an obviously better one available.
As it stands we are going down - no question - but the owner has the financial capacity to avoid this fate with short term expenditure and to save himself money in the medium term by doing so. Presumably that is what he will try to do. But in response to the claim that the most people now think Chris has to go, not in my name, thanks.
Hate to say it but I have to agree.5 wins all season is not good enough last season we were picking up points away from home.I no we will have 2 games in hand on a few teams around us but if Millwall win at Yeovil on Tuesday night the gap will be 5 points.I would give the job to Paul Hart until the end of the season at least we will see some football being played.

Everyone in the stadium wanted to see PP and then he brought on church!!! With 18 mins to go why not make all three changes and bring on PP aswell, it would have given a lift to the crowd and maybe spurred us on to get an equaliser but no he leaves him and brings him on when we're 2-0 down with 3 mins to go, that is just appalling management.
Also what about the training exercise that we saw in the video in the week? What is the point on working on scoring from crosses when we're playing with 4 CM's in midfield!
The only person to blame for this is powell, and he still hasnt learned all season, i cannot see us staying up playing like this, and the fact that andy hughes is shouting more encouragement from the sidelines and gets told off for doing so speaks volumes
Evina is getting a lot of abuse here. Yep, he had a shocking game, but was against a very good winger, and he had a player in front of him in AA who did very little to support his full back. Don't get me wrong, Evina was poor with what he did, and Ajdarevic looks like he offers huge attacking options, but also seemed desperate to get in that CM spot, or just behind the striker. This left Evina exposed and his confidence was shot to bits as the game went on. (if he had the comments thrown at him from the home crowd that has been suggested, then it is bound to affect him too.) I was crying out from CP to switch AA with Cousins and see how the new boy did cutting in from the right onto his left foot. Cousins would have given Evina a bit more support against Burke. Also wanted Poyet to push forward a bit and play from in their half more as well. Two individual errors led to the goals. Wood - needless foul to give away free kick, and Mr Liability -aka Danny Green (poor mans Beckham) trying to do too much instead in the centre of the park.

So who would you play? Green, Harriott and Cook aren't the answer.
Could have played Nego at RB with Wilson RM, but that still leaves us needing a left winger. There were mixed reports on Nego last week though and Powell probably didn't think any of the midfield deserved to be dropped.
Until we get a loan or two in Powell's got two choices, play his best players with one or two out of position, or play one or two players that aren't really good enough.

Going to need a torch soon...
Lay off the sauce son...

The cross (free kick)for their first goal was a peach and just said "score me"
We knew Marcheda was a free agent why didn't we go for him (just saying)
The logic of playing a natural left back at left back is incontestable - who was to know he would make the rookie out of position centre back look undroppable ( was so looking forward to seeing Harry play)
If that was the first game of the season I could be optimistic that things could change for us when the new players and youngsters gel, but there is no time left to wait for that and it is irrelevant without a goalscorer
