The Football League will be pragmatic about it I suspect, awful weather, honesty about the problem, and a plan to fix it for now. the same has happened with other clubs (orient last season) and they've done nothing, Newport have worse problems then us, and the FL hasn't called them in for a word.

Weren't Orient threatened with sanctions though? Newport is a slightly different affair. Don't they share with a rugby team? It isn't their pitch so harder to hold them accountable.
This isn't with hindsight - we have had problems with the pitch. If I were in Bradshaw's shoes and having taken into account the advice of the ground staff i would still have considered it prudent to have a Friday inspection so that a) if it was considered unplayable we could call it off early b) if it was considered playable then called off by the match ref you'd have had done everything possible and c) you'd be covering your own arse.
I have no problem with the groundstaff at all and would have had some sympathy with Bradshaw if it wasn't for the inadequate response after the call off and then blaming the ground staff.
I am surprised that this statement wasn't put on the OS as it would appear that only Lifers and those buying the newsshopper will have access to this.
It may be in tomorrow evening's VR but with a poor attendance expected, and no further home game for some time, the Club will have missed a prime opportunity to communicate with its supporters & build some bridges.
“We invested a lot of money in the pitch but what we didn’t have the opportunity to do was a reconstruction of the pitch."
I thought the issue was that we had invested next to nothing in the pitch last summer and this was relatively well known amongst supporters (well those on here at least).
Given the Cup postponement this one could have been handled differently and saved a lot of people a lot of aggro and expense. if Mr Bradshaw wants to shrug, say 'shit happens' or 'what can you do'? then he should leave. It is not right to have left things until after 1pm last Saturday. I suspect Mr Bradshaw doesn't really care and feels irritated and exasperated by those who feel put out, and reckons the paying supporters are basically plebs.
While I do think that the buck stops with Steve Bradshaw the rest of your post is way way way over the top.
It really doesn't help the debate in the same way your personal vilification of Steve Waggott ("he smiles a lot") didn't help.
It is ironic that you use the term "plebs" which it turned out was made up by a vindictive group of police officers trying to bring a minister down.
Criticise Bradshaw, Slater, Jimenez, Murray, Powell (Chris or Colin), Duchetlet or whoever for their actions but not for imagined "feelings" or statements you have put in their mouths.
The clue is in me saying 'I suspect' not putting anything in anybody's mouth. The (old) Steve Waggott saga was about his wage verses what ever he was supposed to do at his work. Yeah it was personal in as much as my season ticket money, my personal money, was going towards his wage. You may call it personal vilification, and it is admirable you stand up for your friend, I call it questioning his position at the time. I reckon it was helpful, although maybe not for Coventry City obviously.
As for my wanting to blame Mr Bradshaw, well yes I do. What is the opposite of plebs huh? Paying customers? Decent supporters? If you think in the light of last Saturdays malarkey we were treated like decent supporters and paying customers well I disagree. There was plenty of opportunity all week to constantly monitor the pitch, get everything into place, so if the game couldn't happen supporters could have known much earlier.
The pitch was reported in the week to be in a better condition than prior to Brighton and Ipswich, but not that it was playable. To be playable it would take a decent (referees?) pitch inspection which didn't happen before mid day Saturday. Then the news came out bit by bit. Mr Bradshaws apology today is noted, but there is no decent reason given as to why things went to such a late hour.
I imagine the poor Barnsley supporter who got the night bus from and to Glasgow for the game is glad that Mr Bradshaw is now (Monday afternoon) 'sorry'. I bet he would have preferred to have known about the pitch on Friday evening before he set off rather than get an apology today.
I was hardly personally inconvenienced because I live locally, mind you I hate postponements of any kind. I could have planned for something else if I had know earlier. You may notice Henry by my use of a lot of 'I's in this paragraph that I am personally cheesed off by Mr Bradshaw. If this is how paying customers and decent supporters are treated, god help the plebs.
It is the "suspect" part I have a problem with. Criticise and blame Bradshaw all you like based on his actions or lack of same but don't make up stuff about how you "suspect" he thinks or the words he uses to describe you or others.
What I "suspect" is that you don't realise how your personal vilification undermines your own argument just as your accusation that Waggott smiled a lot and had once written about Millwall games came over as a personal attack and so became a joke (the Geordie Smiler) rather than a proper review of whether Wagott was doing a good job or not.
but only an hr passed Clem, I think its a big pile of blame culture set in to our fans, and agendas being placed higher than the club and its fans,
for a while atleast time should be being given as there is loads going on behind scenes that maybe influencing what is happening,
its time that the fans come together focus on the football, and get behind RD his new transition team and Chris Powell and the playing staff
Agree with this. Understandably people are pissed off, have lost money etc. Numerous issues with communication and where the blame lies. I hope this hasn't left too bitter a pill in people's mouths and we all get back to business. Getting behind the team and give a decent turnout against Oxford tonight.

Henry me suspecting something is not making up some kind of objective truth, it is my perception of matters. Call it my interpretation if that helps you to understand.
This bit
' don't make up stuff about how you "suspect" he thinks or the words he uses to describe you or others'
makes no sense at all.
In this thread I am not constructing an argument about the postponement, I am reacting to events.
Fact If I had cocked up big time like "somebody" had and pissed off all our clients(that's what we are ) i would be held responsible and probably Wouldn't be in a job still?

Perhaps he is just acting like he was shown in the past

I wrote directly to Waggott, twice without reply.
Bradshaw has been there 12 months. What example do you think he was following?
