  • lol I think we all know what's coming!
  • The pictures on twitter look fine. Most grass I've seen on it for ages. Only thing I can think is they uncovered it last night and it got rained on ovenight.
  • If this is called off now instead of yesterday or first thing this morning I will be mightily fucked off. I'm nearly at the Valley . Barnsley fans would have a right to be extremely mad. What a shambles.
  • They left this one a bit late.
  • Surely just a formality? If the pitch is still in a state we will struggle to finish the season at this rate...
  • Probably just the f.a freaking as our last two games were called off
  • If it's just a formality why we're we not told yesterday or the day before? What a joke.
  • How quickly will we find out, lots of us waiting at home, and a lot of us not signed up to twit?
  • Come on CAFC -1st game I have been able to get to for ages and on way already
    ! Lovely sunny day for 3 points.....please!

  • I've spent £20 I don't have on a train ticket-won't be pleased but I think we'll be ok
  • was this official twitter feed?
  • It is a very bright and sunny day here in Lee.
  • Last week the ground inspection on Friday was deemed too early and 1PM today is too late
  • Ffs please not. Been on the train for nearly 3 hours now to get here.
  • The tweet said "following the arrival of the referee there will be a 1pm pitch inspection". Can only assume it wasn't planned and the club felt the pitch was ok. Given the well documented issues we have had, I assume the ref is covering his back.
  • I doubt it!
  • What chance have we got if we can't get a game on when it's sunny!
  • was this official twitter feed?

    yes.

  • Doesn't the referee always inspect the pitch when he gets to a ground?
  • Seriously though, if the pitch is still not playable after not being played on for 16 days then we are in serious trouble
  • Embarrassing

Ah but is inspecting the pitch the same as a pitch inspection ?
  • Embarrassing

    What's embarrassing?
  • Much more worrying than embarrassing

I would assume so. But the club don't tweet about that and follow it up by saying "we'll let you know what is happening asap"

At least it will give another week for Katrien to authorise getting a decent striker in.

I would have some sympathy for travelling fans. It is OK for me, have not left the house yet.

Postponing the Oxford tie on Tuesday for a 3rd time, that would be embarrassing.

    Definitely worrying.

I have had nowhere near my quota of worrying for today, and that in itself worries me.
    Don't worry (or do)

    There's still time....
