Midfielder Elliot Grandin has been unable to secure a first team place at Sellout and may make a move to Charlton: Grandin
Sheffield Wednesday are also in the frame, but that would be a longer move north.
A cautionary note: this is a rare case of the player's agent going on record to talk up interest.
A winger, Grandin can also play as a central attacking midfielder, so would meet some needs. He is a French player of Congolese origin so would fit in well with what is likely to increasingly be a French language environment at Sparrows Lane: Career
Wells from Bradford to terriers for (a reported) £2.2 Million .. that's Bradford's faint promotion hopes down the tubes and has improved Huddersfield's play-off prospects
Sounds like we are still a long way off from signing the Iranian..
Persianfootball.com – LIEGE, It’s winter in Europe, despite the cold climate, it has been quite hot in the winter transfers during the season break as clubs seek new acquisitions.
FCUpdate.nl reports that many Dutch clubs have been looking for strikers and Reza Ghoochannejhad, 26 years old Iranian striker currently with Standard Liege in Belgium has had numerous offers from his former clubs Cambuur, Go Ahead Eagles and SC Heerenveen. However, he is not interested in returning to the Netherlands.
René Eijkelkamp, Reza’s agent had stated to FCUpdate.nl, that Reza comes from the Netherlands but was quick to add: “His preference is for the moment to go to other countries, like Spain or Italy for example.
“We do not have anything concrete, but we are working knowing that the next six months will be important for his participation in the final phase of the World Cup 2014. ”
11 Jan 2014 12:33:32 Southend, Afc Wimbledon and WEST HAM! have shown an interest in taking Charlton Athletics Mark Gower on loan untill the end of the season
I can't see Gower making much of an impact at West Ham... Let alone much of an impact at Charlton!
To be honest this is more interesting then reading the host of nonsense posted by CL members.. No offence but you all moan like a cat in heat.
I think (no inside knowledge at all) that Cousins will go. However i do think that RD will invest the money in the squad. any thing between £3mil and £5 mill and he will defo be sold.
5m would be stupid to turn down as much as I'd love to keep him. Can't see it being the case though and just paper talk. He's not worth 5m yet but give it another season or two with us to fine tune a bit and then definitely.
@Transfer_News24: Everton & Aston Villa are tracking Charlton's £5 million-rated midfielder Jordan Cousins. #efc #avfc #cafc
I'd take £5m, but it's not in the player's interest to leave Charlton at this point of his career, especially with Villa being a pretty turbulent place at the moment, and Lambert's future not entirely secure...
