David Lilley, Amateur player who lost in the Semi Finals of all 3 Q Schools and as such us top of the Q School order if merit, which is why he was in the Qualifiers He beat Hammad Miah(76) to qualify for the Riga Masters He beat Li Hang(36) to qualify for the World Open. Incredible stuff from an Amateur player to qualify for the main event for both these competitions.
Rod Lawler- on the 2nd year of his 2 year tour card, last season he earned £5,600 for the entire season, this week after winning his 2 qualifying matches he has earned £5,500

Rod the Plod is still playing? He beat a mate of mine in the semi final of a ranking event 20 odd years ago.

Yeah 125th in rankingd ATM
Never actually gone off tour been a pro since 1990.
Needs a good season to avoid going off the tour tho, only top 64 stay on at end of season(barring tour cards).
Elliot Slessor 5-0 Gerard Greene Xiao Guodong 5-2 Zhang Yong Jack Lisowski 5-2 Zhang Jiankang sorry @johnnybev1987 Martin O'Donnell 5-1 Soheil Vahedi Zhou Yuelong 5-3 Adam Duffy Marco Fu 5-0 Chris Totten Jamie Jones W/O Sam Craigie Noppon Saengkham 5-2 Sean O'Sullivan Judd Trump 5-0 Kishan Hirani Robbie Williams 5-4 Oliver Lines Michael Georgiou 5-1 Jordan Brown Anthony Hamilton 5-1 Rhys Clark Jak Jones 5-4 Liam Highfield Mark Joyce 5-2 Chen Feilong Mark Selby 5-3 Luke Simmonds
Final World Open Qualifiers are today with some interesting results so far.
Simon Lichtenberg 5-2 Ken Doherty Kurt Maflin 5-1 Lu Ning Paul Davison 5-2 Alan McManus Joe Perry 5-3 Li Yuan Alexander Ursenbacher 5-4 Tian Pengfei Harvey Chandler 5-4 Michael White Lyu Haotian 5-1 Eden Sharav Thepchaiya Un-Nooh 5-1 Billy Joe Castle Ryan Day 5-4 Ross Muir Stephen Maguire 5-4 Adam Stefanow Chris Wakelin 5-3 Craig Steadman
So today: Amateur Simon Lichtenberg has got his 1st win over a tour player
Amateur Harvey Chandler was 4-2 behind to Michael White and came back to win.
Ronnie O'Sullivan has today joined team Sightright, the people who masterminded Mark Williams comeback
So clearly decided something is up with his game.
Not really could be just marketing, easy money.....
I have seen the arguments for and against with Mark Williams using them, the best one being if he wasn't cuing/ or seeing the ball correctly in the first place how did he ever win that many titles. Might all be down to confidence or focusing a bit more on their game, but obviously works a bit or at least gives someone the confidence.
Riga Masters started today with a number of walkovers.
2 qualifiers out if the 4 heldover had walkovers Defending Champion Ryan Day and World Champion Mark Williams both imto 1st round as Jamie Cope and Rhys Clark pulled out.
Anthony Hamilton and Chris Wakelin into 2nd round as Yan Bingtao and Sam Craigie also withdrew.
The new Challenge Tour is now in trouble I posted this below on the last page.
Interesting start to the 1st Challenge Tour Event, considering the top 2 at the end of the seasin get tour cards.
No Live Scores No Referee's No Water for players(thats come from someone playing).
59 people were at that event
Then Challenge tour 2, 64 people were there.
Challenge tour 3 starts tomorrow now it could be an issue of school holidays or people being abroad but only 25 people will be at the event majority of which are English, not many people coming accross from Europe for this event unlike the previous 2.
Challenge tour 4 will be interesting if under 30 people turn up again, I can see the challenge tour being scrapped before 2019
I know you said you have spoken to him much @johnnybev1987 but anyway you could speak to Charlie, really interested to hear his viewpoint as he has entered all 3 events now

I have spoken to him via twitter mainly, only here and there but i can certainly ask his thoughts on it.
Reckon its a bad time of the year, the next one should be fine.
New Pool premier league started on Wednesday week , free sports again did you watch it? The next IPA event they are showing on BBC sport online , its coventry next weekend will be interesting to see how that goes and be good if it kicks off it might put it more on main stream.
I personally feel a massive potential in pool at the moment in blackball rules, much easier on the eye and can grow similar to darts. I previously tweeted Barry Hearn he didnt really think its a starter. I watch alot of pool and money matches, but can see his point. Still think it should be more mainsteam and might grow.
If and there is a chance now if Lisowski loses this 5-0 I really hope it doesnt affect him for the rest of the season, other than tonight he has looked great all weekend and has an outside chance of getting into the top 16 before The Masters

But yesterday Murphy missed the yellow on a 147, today this happened.
Anyway the Riga Masters final tonight is between
Neil Robertson V Jack Lisowski
I know somebody on here who got 25/1 on Lisowski before the event started
2-0 behind and missing balls he was potting for fun earlier
Robertson gets a 117 to lead 3-0
He needs the next 2 frames IMO
