Jesus Christ !
I bet some of those bidders have a cleaner !!!0 -
15050 raised excluding any fees. The fella that won the photos was bidding on 90 per cent of the lots, including the one I was after. Unsure on how much he spent, but fair play to him0

There was also a very nice ribbon from United States Football Association official's for the Charlton Athletic v U.S.F.A. XI match played at the Polo Grounds, New York City, 27th June 1937, which made just over £200.0

A bunch of z list celebrities were there. Statto from fantasy football, Perry Groves, John McDonald (Boxing/Darts announcer) and other Charlton faces

Shirty, I hope you got the name, address and blackmail details of the guy who won most of the Charlton stuff : - )0

I was more impressed with his comment at the end to the lady at Reception asking where to collect and pay. He was unsure how much he has spent! Fair play to him0

Well, the very good and very gratefully received news is that an anonymous Addick bid on some lots on behalf of the Museum.
We missed out on some but we did get lot 834 the 30s programmes which I'm very pleased about.
If you are reading this then you are a top bloke Mr Anon.0 -
I popped into sothebys at lunch time and saw a few charlton faces I recognised. Maybe one those bought the items. I had to go back to work so didnt see who bought them.0

How secure is it there?
Got something of great value that I can try to loan for a short while
Also got signed and framed CAFC shirt with Curbs autograph and charivari red of players around the outside. Presented to me by Claus Jensen so I know its legit :-)

It will be very secure as the number one priority is a state of the art security system. Already got it priced and funded as the museum will be housing items such as FA cup winners medals, Clive play-off winners shirt/medal/ball.

I had the auction on my laptop, glad CC's collection made good money, hopefully some of the items will be lent to the museum.0
