This was met with several bottles flying backwards and forwards and much surging on either side of the segregation cloth
Segregation Cloth? Sounds like a serious barrier it's got to be right up there with Separation Shrubs, Cottonwool Partitioning and Icing-sugar Dividers. Luckily the stewards were armed with smiles should anyone break through.
At least in the old days with a fourteen foot steel fence you could really pretend you wanted to get at each other by climbing up a few feet whilst shouting 'hold me back'
Pretty short notice, but Thamesmead Town are doing admission for the cost of the programme only when you show your CAFC season ticket today. £2.00. They are playing Romford in the Ryman Div 1 North.
I see former Dulwich star man (and Charlton reject) Erhun Oztumer continues to turn it on at Peterborough. Going to be very interesting to see if a Championship club takes a punt on him. He's tiny but he's good enough.
In other news; Hendon FC will learn this week if their application for stadium grant money has been approved. If so, the green light will be given for construction work to begin at Silver Jubilee Park, West Hendon (an existing ground but not currently up to Ryman Premier standard). The hope is that a seven year nomadic period (Hendon were tenants at Wembley FC and are now at Harrow Boro FC) will come to an end at the beginning of next season. The plan is to ground share on 4G with current tenants, Edgware Town.
I managed to get to the second half of Hendon v Burgess Hill on Saturday and was in time to clean the dressing rooms after the final whistle! To be fair, Burgess Hill had already cleaned theirs. Them and Met Police have been the best at doing that this season so far....
In other news; Hendon were successful in their Football Stadia Improvement Fund application (yay!) and have already begun work on upgrading Silver Jubilee Park for Ryman League football next season (work started last week). It's not going to be a super-duper stadium but it will be a new start.
Think they've got a big London Supporters Group from fans that live down here... Remember them playing us on a Tuesday night in League One once and brought a few fans
Mishi, from Dulwich Hamlet, posted this on Facebook earlier.....
Glebe FC are an up & coming club, currently top of the Kent Invicta League, & now with their own ground in Chislehurst. They seem well run & friendly...I expect them to be in the Isthmian League Division One South earlier than their five year 'target'... I took these snaps on Sunday 27th December 2015, when they crushed bottom of the table Lewisham Borough FC nine one! Attendance was 178.

They won a community award in 2014, the ground is a short walk from The Chislehurst war memorial.
Went to Dartford v Wealdstone on Tuesday night. No sign of the raider. Our old boy Scott McGleish scored the equaliser for Wealdstone. His somersault celebration has been replaced with a doddery walking stick effort. He is 41 now and despite carrying a bit of extra timber looked very effective at that level. His strike partner Jefferson Louis, a mere pup at 36, scored the winner for Stones. Ebou Adams caught the eye for Darts.

Was at the match and thought Dartford were very poor against a dreadful Wealdstone outfit.
First time I've seen Adams and instantly thought he was a big prospect. Rumour the day after is he's on his way to a Premiership club, can't believe (although I can) we haven't gone in for him. Not many 19 year old two-footed centre midfielders out there...

Jefferson Louis' list of clubs barely fits on one page....

(And Tranmere v Wrexham, which is a bit mad.)
1,479 at Dulwich on Saturday to see them come from 1-0 down to beat Margate 2-1 in the third qualifying round.
