Family trip to Wembley today. Niece's husband is a Bristol Rovers supporter so looking forward to a good game and a lot of taking the mick out of his accent.
Sad that Hamlet did not make it, be interesting to see how they set up for next season and of course if Gavin Rose remains, surprised no one has come and poached him.

In keeping with the shambles of the play offs, the league appointed a very young ref for a game of great magnitude for both clubs and he made a balls of it. Dished a straight red for a foul after about 15 mins when it should have been a yellow and subsequently ruined the game. Margate ran out fairly comfortable winners but the game ceased to be any sort of spectacle once the red card was dished out.
Today's 1,228 was Hendon's biggest crowd for ten years.

Probably all the real refs had gone on holiday so they used a work experience kid
Not seen this anywhere else here, but Dulwich have announced a friendly with Charlton (presumably a Charlton XI) for Saturday 18 July. If I remember rightly, one was announced last season but then didn't go ahead, so hopefully this one happens.

I'll be there. hamlet have quite a good pre season with us Peterborough and Daggers all visiting.
Anyone know anything about Joe Wright, 22 yr old keeper who has played for Welling? Any good? (He's just signed for my non-league club, Hendon). Cheers.
Congrats to Phoenix Sports, for picking up their first ever win in the Ryman league, won 1-0 away to Barkingside, not a great game awful pitch, but 3 points at the end of the day.
I was at Ebbsfleet vs Whitehawk on Saturday, game ended 2-2
Ebbsfleet cameback from being 0-2 at half time to get a well deserved draw. Ebbsfleet never relly got going in the 1st half, Whitehawk packed the midfield which stopped Ebbsfleet from creating any decent chances. Ebbsfleet goalie also saved a pen in the 1st half, the Whitehawk 2nd goal was goal of the game.
Second half Ebbsfleet made a couple of changes and showed a bit more creativity and started to pass and move the ball more quickly, getting into better postions and started to test the keeper.
Danny Haynes scored a goal for fleet which was well taken, a good game and probably a fair result,
MOM for me was Ebbsfleet central defender Kenny Clark
Cracking game at Welling today. Drew 1 1 with Tranmere, equalising with a 25 yard screamer in the 87th minute. Could and probably should have taken all 3 points.

If that was a premier league game, that goal would have been talked about on all the back pages.

Super Bromley! Torquay 3 Bromley 7 - I can't remember another game ending with that score either as a home or away (or neutral ground) win since Eintracht Frankfurt beat Real Madrid in the 1960 European Cup Final.
