I don't think many managers would have done any better given his budget etc. I hope he keeps his job if he wishes to continue.
I've seen Dartford four times this season and they have always looked a well organised side. They lack a little up front but work hard as a team. I hope they bounce back.
Need a result at Alfreton on Saturday and that should be enough.
If they beat Alfreton they will be safe... Only one match will be left and the latter will need to beat Bristol Rovers by an English record to overhaul the Goal Difference
Even defeat at Alfreton wouldnt mean disaster, IF Southport lose at home to Grimsby. A win for Welling last game at home to Southport would mean they stay up on GD.
I see Margate had a bit of a night last night. Seemed to be winning 3-2 at Billericay with a couple of mins to go...then Jamie Stuart was sent off and they lost 4-3.
I'm off to the Rymans League Cup Final tonight at Whyteleafe FC. Hendon v Grays on the all-weather pitch.
My husband and his mates are going to Bromley Town today instead of the Valley so just me and my son supporting the Addicks. I hope they don't put the kibosh on Bromley's promotion party!!

Jamie Day had 1/4 of Dartford's budget and kept them up last year and was looking the same til he took the dirty dollar to go to £bbsfleet.
People would be shocked the money that is being thrown around now at Conf South level and below.....

Sounds like the celebrations afterwards went well
Celebrating winning a title in the old school (proper) way, I like that.
Let's hope they do it after so many near misses in recent seasons.
