  • welling won 2-1, out of relegation at the moment
  • Made bloody hard work of it in the second half but just held on. Huge 3 points.
  • Need a result at Alfreton on Saturday and that should be enough.
  • Dartford's relegation confirmed :-(

    Feel for Tony Burman.

I don't think many managers would have done any better given his budget etc. I hope he keeps his job if he wishes to continue.

I've seen Dartford four times this season and they have always looked a well organised side. They lack a little up front but work hard as a team. I hope they bounce back.

If they beat Alfreton they will be safe... Only one match will be left and the latter will need to beat Bristol Rovers by an English record to overhaul the Goal Difference
  • Even defeat at Alfreton wouldnt mean disaster, IF Southport lose at home to Grimsby. A win for Welling last game at home to Southport would mean they stay up on GD.

Jamie Day had 1/4 of Dartford's budget and kept them up last year and was looking the same til he took the dirty dollar to go to £bbsfleet.

People would be shocked the money that is being thrown around now at Conf South level and below.....

Am going along, pal of mine is helping the coaching staff at Phoenix.
  • I see Margate had a bit of a night last night. Seemed to be winning 3-2 at Billericay with a couple of mins to go...then Jamie Stuart was sent off and they lost 4-3.

I'm off to the Rymans League Cup Final tonight at Whyteleafe FC. Hendon v Grays on the all-weather pitch.
  • Phoenix promoted as champions to Ryman league fantastic achievement, you'll do well to come across a better group of blokes & women running the club.
  • Yeah well done Phoenix !

Sounds like the celebrations afterwards went well
  • Yes , a few with sore heads I believe, party went on until till about 3.30am

Spoke to my pal this morning and couldn't praise them higher, says it's run like a proper football club.

Celebrating winning a title in the old school (proper) way, I like that.

  • Good luck Hamlet today, big crowd for last game at home this season.
  • Come on you Stones.
  • and for VCD.
  • My husband and his mates are going to Bromley Town today instead of the Valley so just me and my son supporting the Addicks. I hope they don't put the kibosh on Bromley's promotion party!!
  • Bromley win 3-0 and promoted to Conference - maybe, Millwall v Bromley in 2016?
  • Welling draw 2.2 after being down to 10 men since early in the match. Above Alfreton on goal difference with 1 game to play.
