Middlesboro mate , I spoke to the manager who said despite not getting a decision the better team won. Time concentrate on the league starting tonight away to Lordswood.
Erith & Belvedere through to the last 8 today, winning 3-2 after extra time at Holbeach. North Shields visit Park View Road for the quarter final in 2 weeks.
Welling United are doing extremely poor lately since the owner decided to cash in the pennies for Harry Beautyman (who is playing exceptional for Peterborough at the moment) as well as the departure of the long serving player-manager Jamie Day after he become the manager of Ebbsfleet a few months ago and took some Welling players with him.
Seems like they just can't defend, would be a big shame personally if Welling were to get relegated to the Conference South as they are my most local team (before Charlton!) but they haven't won a league game for ages.
There must be some Charlton U21 players they could bring in on loan to help them out?
I don't think at the level of Welling, you get any choice about keeping players. The big (ish) clubs come calling, you hold out for as much as possible, and try to move on. I'd Heard Welling bought a lot of players in january. Were they moving in the network?
There was plenty of Bromley fans, but our numbers were pushed up by loads of Palace fans who decided to try and push around a couple of Ebbsfleet fans which was embarrassing, the Ebbsfleet guys were just quietly watching the game.
They also decided to have a pop at some of the local Northfleet travelling community which wasn't as one sided - I understand a petrol bomb and a sword was wielded and the palace kids got what they may well have been asking for.....

A group of 30 or 40 12-16 year olds who have obviously watched Green Street too many times fighting stewards and vandalising cars. Fucking halfwits the lot of em!

Same bunch of idiots that attended the Bromley v Dartford cup game.
Went Phoenix tonite they won 2-1 against Woodstock, very shaky but job done 7 points clear now.Can see a lot more of these type games happenings the season draws to a close.
Saw Hendon v Maidstone in the league cup last night. Hendon won 2-0 and fairly comfortably but Maidstone had a lot of very young reserves playing and the manager himself was in centre-midfield (he did a decent job there too).
Dulwich lost 1-0 at Lewes. A bit of a surprise because Lewes are ropey.
We decided to find a game on our way home from Wigan today and ended up at Tamworth v Oxford City.
Finished 4-3 with Tamworth coming from behind 3 times to end up winning, and Oxford City had their goalkeeper sent off (for the third game running amazingly)
Dulwich on a slight wobble after loss mid week, drew with Met Police today.
On the other hand they drew a crowd of just under 1,500
Went to this one. A pretty poor game which Dulwich nearly won late on but for a great save by the Met keeper. Still not a bad result for Dulwich as it keeps Met below them in the chase for the play-offs (assuming Maidstone walk the automatic spot).
The crowd was huge by Isthmian standards (Maidstone apart) and the attendances go up every week. Even more amazing on a day when Millwall and Palace were both at home.
An unfortunate clash with the Charlton fixture for Erith & Belvedere this weekend. But for those not attending the Huddersfield match the quarter finals of the FA Vase may be of interest.
Hamlet have announced that final league game of season at home v Maidstone will be all ticket due to the importance that the match will have to both clubs and a capacity crowd of 3,000 expected.
I started going to go to Hamlet about 5 years ago and the crow dos were around 250.

Erith & Belvedere were knocked out of the FA Vase by North Shields, 2-0. The better team won. Attendance 503, the biggest for an Erith & Belvedere home game for over 20 years.
Non league latest?. Is this a Powell thread as that is his management level. Please, please, please take him back and give him a job, tea boy, anything, just get him out of our Club. Worst Manager in our Modern history, a joke, a total joke he is.

Not a classic but Brom deserved the 3 points.

Senseless, obnoxious scum bags.

Welling on BT Sport on Sunday 8th March at home to Altrincham, reduced admission too. Great chance for Charlton fans to come down.
