Think Evina will go as I can't see him playing second fiddle to Wiggins again.
What about Green and Hollands? Did they sign 3 year deals?
Pretty sure Hollands is on a three year deal and I assume Green is because his name has not cropped up about the retention debate.Along with Stephens many seem to be predicting their departure.
Will be v disappointed if Evina goes as he is a quality player from what I've seen this season. Happy with either him or Wiggins at LB. Evina deserves first team football which given that Wiggins is CP's first choice seems unlikely.
<"Clem_Snide">Personally would add Cort to the list as well. blockquote>
Think CP seems to prefer hulks in the air like Cort and Dervite, who are liabilities at times when they have the ball at their feet. After Morrison's poor form this year, I think Taylor would be right to feel hard-done-by. Morrisson plays better alongside Taylor too, I think.
Disappointed Fuller's on his way out. But the others I largely expected. Good luck to them all hopefully we aren't kicking ourselves in a few years over waggy (Which i fear we will be).
With some of the other out of contract players, I presume they've been offered deals, and it's up to them whether they want to sign or not, so may still leave if they reject the terms.
Waggy is slightly unlucky in that there are a number of players who can play his position that are still under contract, whereas Wilson and Green are still under contract and easier to keep. It hardly makes sense to keep all 3 when none of them are currently in the starting 11.

But then, I'm not the manager!
Not sure about Morrison having poor form. He's made a few mistakes which have led to goals, as they typically will at the back, but he is a CB who helped a newly promoted team to 9th in the league, having to play with three different partners along the way. Sounds like bloody good form to me
Kerkar may struggle to get a new contract - doesn't really resemble a footballer when playing. Have seen him go past players but have no idea how he did it as he seems to be totally lacking in pace and strength. He is possibly the worst header of a ball I've ever seen - whenever he goes for a header he seems to get nowhere near the ball.

Add as well that only 5 teams had a better defensive record than us, I would say that was a pretty successful season for Morrison and all those concerned at the back.
I am disappointed with losing Wagstaff and Taylor. I liked Wagstaff and thought he should have had more game time this year, and Taylor was so good last year and unfortunate this year to lose his place. Fuller i expected more from but his wages and his injuries do not make me think we will miss him that much. Kerkar, i didn't see what most other people saw and a lot of the time i saw what most Rangers fans saw and that was a player who doesn't look comfortable on the ball. However he did provide a few assists this year so he got something right. You compare Kerkar to Harriott and there is no competition.
I wish them all luck and will keep an eye on them, particularly Wagstaff. He'll end up scoring a blinder against us i guarantee it.

For me Kerkar was a player who looked very good on the ball in terms of control and technique but lacked a solid grasp of how to make the best use of it. Positioning was always odd as well.
Can't imagine Taylor's wages were too high, would have been happy for him to have another year but maybe he wasn't. Sad to see Waggy go, would have liked someone to work on him for the left where he could have cut in to score. Still I hope he goes on and get's himself a championship career, as although at times he's struglled he's very much good enough.
First off - good luck to all four of them (particularly Waggy as he's been with us man and boy).
Secondly, I'm not too disappointed with their releases as it means that we will be getting in new players and with six going so early it could mean a clearing of the decks for some real quality to come in.
Let's hope SCP's war chest is of sufficient value to do just that and not be taken away at the eleventh hour like last season.
disappointed for waggy - think he's one of those players that it will all click for and he'll be a great championship level player- but not surprised about the others. Taylor and kerkar havent been able to hold a place and Fuller is a luxury player, wouldve used him next season off the bench like di canio, giving the odd 20 minute cameo to do something special. But on the wages he's on it isn't really economical.
Haven't read all the previous posts but have to say I am not surprised that all 4 players have been released.
Each & every one of them did a good job when called upon & played their parts in helping us to the 9th spot- no doubt of that.
However, I feel that this decision is the first part of the rebuild towards the goal of a top 6 finish next season.
I'm sure that SCP would have wanted to retain these guys for his squad but to progress further, it would seem that some must find pastures new in order for him to bring in new blood...after all, isn't this what we have been asking for and what was seemingly planned for the 2012 close season ? There will be a Club out there for all of those leaving. I fervently hope that they grasp the opportunities they are handed & are successful wherever they are signed.
Maybe it won't too long before the gaffer will be able to put a tick against the names of those players he inevitably has on his "wanted" list.
And, bearing in mind the squad he put together 2 years ago, I believe he'll produce the goods again.
Good luck to all them - they have all played their part in our success.
Will be sad to see Waggy go; a real team player and professional who I am sure will flourish given match time at another club. Feel sorry for Taylor as he has been great for us and fought very hard for his place - another real Charlton player, if ever there was one.
Not so sure about letting Fuller go either, but SCP knows the score much better than I ever will, so he must have his reasons.
We didn't see the best of Kerkar, but he also played his part this season.
All the very best to all them - they have my gratitude and best wishes for the future.
No surprises but always a little sad to say goodbye to players who've served the Club well.
Waggy and Taylor were both significant part of a record breaking season.
Fuller and Kerker helped the club to its highest finish for a long while.
Some fans will dismiss or ignore their contributions but that is their problem, not the players. The lack of generousity shown to departing players doesn't surprise me anymore but it still saddens me.
Good luck to all four of them
Apart from a few people not too keen on kerkar the vast majority of people on here have wished every player the best of luck and thanked them for their contribution.
Must be the worst time of any footballer's career, the end of a season where it's not gone too well, time is maybe against you and you can't get regular first team games. You are fearing the worst but trying the hardest to impress. I wish them all luck and many thanks for all they have done for our club. Good luck to all footballers now made to relocate and rethink their careers.

Danny Baath is out of contract but think wednesdayvwill get him.

In SCP we trust !
Thank you and good luck to all four who played key parts in our first successful season at this higher level.
Classy comments from Saint Chris too.
