BBC stats suggest BHA had the better of the game so, a draw looks a decent result. Not yet firing on all cylinders at home but team not settled. Unbeaten run continues and going up the league. Well done REDS and thanks to LL for the good commentary today.
Mistakes were our own undoing today , good to see Haynes back although why he was playing right mid was unknown - Jackson didn't do much same for pritch , but happy to see the dale Stephens we know and expect was back today ... Move on and look forward to the next one
Entertaining game. A draw was a fair result on balance. I thought Stephens and Frimpong oozed class in the middle - best I have seen for a fair few seasons. We created chances but were a bit toothless up front.
Draw fair result. Dorian had another good game. Shyte second goal to give away with the deflection but knew it was in straight away. We played good football at times.
My mom goes to Stephens
Oh and Craig Mackail Smith is a right bastard for defenders and a bastard I would happily have playing for us
We huffed and puffed and definitely lack that bit of quality needed to win these games. We are a mid table team and I don't think that will change when we get our players back from injury. Do you know what. I'll take that. Will we have enough to avoid a relegation scrap ? Definitely. Enough for a playoff spot ? No chance. January could change that.

I thought BHA shaded it in a game that was quite exciting although full of errors. Frustrating to twice take the lead but can't complain. A season to consolidate - funny how one year teams can come up from league one and boss the Championship, then the next year it's a struggle. Small margins between success and failure I guess.
Not many chances for BHA - lots of keep ball. Shame 2 mistakes from the usually reliable Mr Morrison led to both goals. Ref didn't give us much! Played some great football at times but Hulse too isolated. Mind you - ran his socks off. Pritchard some poor passes but glad he got his goal and so were his team mates!
I was very impressed with the way Brighton played, easy on the eye.It was a shame their goals came from a mistake and a deflection. But to be fair 2-2 was slightly flattering to us.Stephens and Frimpong were good in the centre of midfield. But Jackson showed us that he is not up to playing wide left.I was getting a bit frustrated with Pritchard before he scored. But he always gives 100 per cent.
Views from the 178. Jackson & Prichard are the weak links, I adore Jacko, but he just isn't good enough for a top cc side, I'm gutted for our captain. Both sides were fairly even, Brighton had a fair few clear chances to score and blew them, they got lucky with Morro & the free kick, I guess that's football karma. The ref was a plum hole, getting in the way of our passes, he also missed a fair few fouls on our players.
Next, there were some class idiots in the covered end, block H, row NN, seats 123/124, industrial language fine, but the racist & homophobic that poured from their chops was rank..
Finally, Wilson was superb today, no idea why there are so many Wilson haters in the upper covered.
Had a couple of chances at 1-0 which may have made a difference but they are a decent side whose movement and possession made us look like we only had 10 men. Pritch was full of energy but is not a 'false no9' or whatever the modern parlance is. Got punished badly for mistakes and silly fouls.
Stephens played some nice balls around, Solly did his best on the left, Hulse ran his wotsits off with little support getting up to him, poor game by Morro's standards and Frimpong is frustrating and quality in equal measures.
If Brighton was the better team how come they didn't win ?...2-2 was a fair result and a fair reflection on the game...two good sides having a go and in the end it took defensive errors and a bit if luck for both sides to get each of their goals
Posting before reading. A fair enough result from a fair enough game. We didn't get the rub of any green today, and the officials were not inclined to give us anything at all either. However no complaints because what we did get out of the game we got all by ourselves. Which means we didn't lose again to a very good Brighton side, with some very dangerous players, and we could even have won if their keeper hadn't made a really blinding save when we were 1-0 up. I would say that we are now not intimidated by the level were playing at, and it is interesting to observe Powells approach. Once again we had to make significant changes, but didn't look unbalanced, and I wait for the time we can play an unchanged team for three matches...or even two! Danny Haynes was less effective because Brighton tended to play deep and there wasn't the space to exploit with pace in behind them, however returnee Wilson had a very good game at right back, and if we ever get the left side situation sorted then Solly and Wilson down the right looks like the way to go, they will form a powerful partnership. We are still on an unbeaten run since the Boro debacle, the game was quite atmospheric and entertaining, and we look suited to play at this level, not struggling desperately any more. If we can't make signings in the window, but are able to hang on to what we've got, and get a fit squad, we look to be building a good platform for the future. If we suddenly get shedloads of money we could have some fun.

They didn't win because they didn't take their chances.Powell set us up to be solid as Brightons movement can hurt teams,it was just a shame that their goals came from a mistake and a deflection.
Good atmosphere, bad ref, grudgingly I feel it was probably a fair result. Thought Prichard should have been subbed, then he goes and scores a goal - what do I know? (Don't answer that!).
Brighton seem to veer between playing some really good passing football to being diving cheating b*&^%$ds.
Frustrating game. Glad to see Wilson back but think Pritchard simply isn't good enough, despite him getting the goal. Frimpong seems to really lack fitness. Really hope we sort our midfield in January.
the beat goes on .. it is great to see that no matter how many player changes, either thru choice, loanees returning or injury, the squad is capable of at least holding its own with all the teams in this quite topsy turvy division
Even game from where i was sitting and a fair result. Morro f**ked up for the first, second was an unlucky deflection.
Chuffed to bits to see Pritchard finally score. His celebration (or lack of it) was funny. Ref was awful, Jackson was padestrian, Wilson was superb as was Stevens & Ping-pong.
Do not understand the criticism of Jackson, he covered a lot of ground and did most of the dirty work. Perhaps his critics, like the fat oaf behind me,have never kicked a ball in their lives...
Wilson my MOM, his run the length of the pitch at the end was stirring stuff.
Enjoyable and fairly even game. Brighton might have edged the stats but never lead and I think their keeper was the busier.
MM had a bad game. Stephens looked better but still gives the ball away and shoots over too often for me.
We need a LB ASAP so we can get Wilson in front of Solly. Chris does a job but so often on the wrong foot.
Players clearly all delighted for Pritch which was good to see.
Impressed by Hulse and for the first time could see the fuss about Frimpong.
BHA had the pace and movement upfront and in the middle we lack. Bridcott and CMS impressed but at the back were poor and would have been punished if we could have got more possesion in their third.
Up to 12th and 4 pts off the play-offs so not a bad day.
Feel bad for Morro but a fair result in the end. best centre mid pairing so far this season, more of that please Stephens. The more I see of devite the more I like.
Would take a point, decent game, poor ref. Morrison mistake for 1st goal but it happens & he is usually rock solid for us - so pleased for Pritchard & his reaction summed up what it meant to him, think people forget he was playing non-league football 2 seasons ago sometimes.
Thought Hulse looked a bit lazy, or disinterested tbh. Dervite looks accomplished but where was Cort or did I miss something?
good enough result looking at our home form this season, thought dervite looked solid, Wilson had a decent game, pritchard and Jackson seemed to get lost at times and not know where they were supposed to be playing although i am haapy for pritch he deserved his goal maybe not for today's performance but for the effort he has put in since signing. overall i am pleased with that result.
