It does seem those that are condoning the actions of others throwing objects on Saturday do have poor spelling and grammar. I wonder if there is some sort of link between the two?
Just a quick browse through your post history shows up countless grammatical errors. Glass houses and all that?
Countless? I'd be happy for you to point them out to me, I'm always looking to improve my English
Curb-It looking at some oftheir weird barnets on Saturday i think i now know why theyhate hairdressers !
We had a few ourselves! Thought it was an audition for a boy band, the amount of identikit haircuts and skinny jeans on show.
And yes, I am jealous! Wish I had hair and could fit into a pair of skinny jeans!! ;-(
The haircuts that I saw on Saturday in our stands were ridiculously embarassing. Shaved hair round the sides with a tuft of hair on the top. These kids look absolutely ridiculous.
Loved the atmosphere I must say, I absolutely loved the game from start to finish, as did my mates and 12 year old brother. The flares and stuff... I dunno, smoke bombs are pretty harmless in my opinion but flares have a much bigger potential to go wrong. Regarding the whole "flare near the ballboy incident" that was confused from the start up because it was the smoke bomb that fell right next to the kid (he looked absolutely terrified) the flare was on the pitch by a good measure.
Winding up the Millwall support was absolutely brilliant, I think that the main reason they went so quiet was because every time they made ANY noise they would just have the piss taken out of them which is one of the main reasons they were getting so massively wound up eg that ginger kid who if he keeps supporting Millwall at that paste will blow a blood vessel before he is 30.
I'm actually really looking forward to the March game now, because it brings some much needed atmosphere to Valley.
There was a bald bloke in the upper tier of the stand on the left who for the first twenty minutes looked like he wanted blood. was going absolutely nuts! Spent the whole time just trying to point away supporters out.
When observing the behaviour of others I try to simplify and bring it down to a level where I could teach my youngest child (she is 3) the difference between right and wrong.
So:
Lighting flares - bad Setting off smoke bombs - bad Damaging property - bad Throwing dangerous objects - bad Shouting abuse - bad Shouting racist abuse - bad They did it to us, so we did it to them - bad Gloating and taunting - bad
I haven't read every post on this thread (my blood was boiling doing so) but reading the posts of those morons who think that throwing ANYTHING be they flares, seats, bottles or coins is okay, is not fit to call themselves a Charlton supporter. The club does not need idiots like you and I hope that those who carried out those acts are banned from football grounds for life. I don't want Charlton to be tarred with the same brush as Millwall.
I'm proud that most people think of our club and its supporters as being 'nice'.

Yeah that was some of the best bits for me in what was actually (hate to say this) a fairly unremarkable game of football from both sides. They really were losing their rag.
We were in a pub at london bridge on saturday - lots of brighton in there, all good natured stuff but we were laughing at the irony of going to millwall away but actually getting turned over by Brighton fans. Avoiding a bushwacking but ending up with a bum whacking.
